travel4you5 ebay seller A/K/A National Resort Title et al

So this time they only stopped selling for a little over a week. Ebay is unbelievable sometimes.

Im about to report all of their listings as fraudulent

Just to update what I've found out so far....
National Resort Title is a real company (if you can call them that) with a Western Surety bond that I was able to verify through BOA. Their bond is valid through 2025. In reaching out to my DVC rep, the contract number I have, that starts with 20 is for Old Key West. Contracts for BRV start with a different number so I'm currently in the process of asking the title company and Travel 4 You what the contract number is so my rep can see if it's been submitted for ROFR. If not, I am calling my bank and disputing the charges as fraudulent. I am pretty sure Travel 4 You and National Resort Title are the same people. Will continue to keep everyone posted.

I bet you think you got a bargain, however it's no bargain if they take the money and do nothing on their end.

You likely just saved yourself a whole lot of $$$$$$$ and aggravation by keeping your hands in your pockets and walking away.

Their 99.6% positive feedback made me feel comfortable bidding. Looking through their feedback now, I see that it's all the exact same feedback by the same few handful of new users. Absolutely a scam.

If you want to leave them feedback, I believe you have to reach out to Ebay first and tell them what is going on so the seller just doesn't report you and have it erased. If you leave feedback, I can screen shot and send it to the detective that is looking into them prior to Ebay deleting it...

I reported them to Ebay already. Not sure if Ebay will allow me to leave feedback. If they do, I'll DM you so you can screenshot it. Not sure if will be helpful though since I haven't actually sent them a cent.

You need to have a minimum number of posts (3 or 5?) to send private messages. Feel free to ask questions here. This is an outfit that needs to be exposed as much as possible.

I purchased 220 Animal Kingdom points from a Travel4you5 ebay disney listing in April about the same time as​

On may 4 I was told by Morgan Cook at National Resort Title that the ROFR paperwork was submitted on April 17 then on May 22nd she said it passed and "Yes we are cleared to start the deed work and we are scheduled to work on that this week!" Then on June 7 " No sir nothing you need to fill out as of right now; once the deed is recorded, Disney should only take about 4 weeks or so to finalize everything on their end!" I've emailed National Resort Title a few times in the last 8 days to confirm the deed was recorded and haven't heard anything. Then I discovered this thread so I am scared. I unfortunately paid for the purchase by a bank transfer. What do you think my recourse is now?​

My advice would be to contact the detective at the Sheriff's Office who is handling the case and he/she can advise you the next step.

I believe this situation has been ongoing for years and they can best advise you how to proceed. Let us know how you make out.

It's really easy to check if a Disney deed has been recorded, the clerk's office has an online website and you can search by your name: https://or.occompt.com/recorder/eagleweb/docSearch.jsp

In the "either name" field, put your last name followed by your first name. If the deed has been recorded, it will pop up in the search results. Please do report back and let us know after you've searched your name what the results are. Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to find a recorded deed.

For a purchase that big, if I knew it was recorded, I would call the county and tell them I want to get a copy of the deed to send to Disney for transfer to my name.

I'm really lucky I guess, I came very close to bidding on that very contract I think but it just seemed too good to be true. It sold for literally a third of what the then-going rate was for AKV at all the other major brokers, and it just made no sense to me that someone would unload it on ebay when they could literally unload it in seconds for significantly more at other brokers (some of whom even have an instant purchase option where the broker buys it from you that was nonetheless significantly higher than this ebay listing).
