travel4you5 ebay seller A/K/A National Resort Title et al

I agree that the state requires a license, but do THEY HAVE a license? Those are two different things. If they are willing to scam money from people would they care that they are legally required to have a license?
this
They have the teeth to look into this and permanently shut them down (and place metal bracelets on their wrists).

Look we all now if eBay shuts them down they will just pop up under a different user name/profile etc-

BUT if the state steps in and hits them with heavy fines and or charges it potentially could shut it down for good. That’s why I asked if @DVCAKL how it’s going on the state end

So the Title company, National Resort Title does have a bond. That much I was able to verify. Now that I have all this information, I'm handing that over to their state.

And here it is. Guess that takes care of that. He can't give me ANY proof that this is legit so he's offering to cancel the transaction now and resell it to someone else. LOL

"So if you do have a contact at Disney that states they don’t have the first right of refusal, please give me their first and last name and I will have the title company contact them through their Disney contact in the transfer department to find out why they are telling you it has not been sent. It seems that you don’t feel comfortable with the transaction, even though your file is at the title company, they’ve contacted you, and your funds are in escrow. If you do not feel comfortable and want to cancel all you have to do is let us know and we can have the title company stop the transfer and issue a refund and we will just sell the property to someone else."
What is the scam here if they are refunding? Just making money off the float? Seems like a lot of work (dishonest work, but nonetheless work) for not a lot of benefit.
Edit: I see they charge a fee that they don’t refund if the property is ROFR’d. That’s a huge red flag since the contract should be structured such that the fee is part of it and if Disney takes it in ROFR Disney pays the fee. Every reputable. Broker/closing company that sells DVC does this as there is no downside to them (they still get their fee).

Someone over on the disboards stated they are kiting money.... I know what kiting checks are but never heard this about credit cards so I have no idea. They sold me a fraudulent contract. I haven't rec'd the refund yet. There is a tracking number given to me for something... but it's not here yet. No clue what it is. In either case, even if its not the refund or a bad check, my credit card company WILL refund me. I'm with you though...I'm not certain I understand the point to going through all this. I will say it was funny they put up the Wyndam auction right after they offered to refund me....

Just one example, I see a DVC Animal Kingdom 220 point contract that sold for a little over $6,000, or $30/point to be exact. There is no way this was going to pass ROFR. Sounds like these guys make a living off of the float and whatever fees they retain. If it doesn’t pass ROFR, 100% of the purchase price should be refunded within a couple days of DVC exercising the ROFR. However, if they never submit to DVC and just play stalling games then that isn’t good.

They can't submit to DVC no matter how many times they claim they have. It would get kicked back to them as incomplete if they did. The contract numbers are not valid and they have THEIR name listed as the seller on the contract they would send you, not the actual seller of the property.

Yes this is what I thought too but the Boulder Ridge Villa contracts start with 14 so who knows?
You’re lucky to have a place such as tugbbs to share/ discuss such information for a proper guide. When I got scammed 2 years ago from an auction on eBay for a Disney’s BWV timeshare purchase, I didn’t know how to check if the seller was real or not.. he initially introduced me to an escrow company and later advised I deal with him directly. Listing said verifiable by eBay. But they couldn’t help me. Also, The contract he sent made no mention of any escrow or refund process if the right of first refusal was exercised. However I wish I had the option of payment via credit card so I can dispute.

I told the scammer If they can not provide me with the ROFR information after 30 days I will dispute the charge. Then they stopped communicating with me. That’s how I lost a huge sum. Although it appears that there are some real auctions/ sellers on eBay. But I wasn’t so lucky. ‍♀️

You said you wish that you had the option to pay by credit card but the next sentence you say you threatened them to dispute the charge? How did you pay them?

Can you please share who you dealt with?

Good news that at least eBay has finally shut them down!! Temporarily I'm sure as they will pop up again with a new name...
This is true however I have enough information about the eBay seller and the title company being together so this has also been reported to their local Sheriff's office, the FTC and the AG's office in both states.

Good job! Let's shut them down and fit them for metal bracelets. Throw away the key!

I would like to give everyone here more information in case anyone else has purchased a timeshare through these people and were scammed.

Kelly Gillispie is the agent listed on the Title business National Resort Title as found here:

According to her Facebook her name is Kelly Williams Gillispie:

Her and her husband (or maybe just her husband or a family member) own a company called Game-On Grading:

Now you know why they are selling all those cards on eBay then throwing in the timeshare. Not sure who this "Josh" is that responds on eBay but I suspect that is her husband or the owner of Game On Grading. The owners name is Daniel Gillispie but who knows about the eBay account?

Travel4you5 on eBay, doing business as Travel 4 You, used a merchant account for my purchase "GOGTN." In other words, Game On Grading, TN as seen below:

I hope this information helps someone!!

They requested I pay them via PayPal (family and friends). I dealt with “Bob David” whom I later found was a nutritious scammer. AKA Robert David still on the run. Claiming other people’s names, still running other scams. So beware when you come across that name run….

He listed it again after I canceled.

So they aren't shut down on Ebay?
Yes they were.... I guess eBay just slapped his wrists. Unreal!! Does anyone have an actual phone number where you can speak to an agent at eBay vs a virtual assistant?

Anyone who has been scammed by this company and would like to file a report with the local Sheriff's office in Sevier County, please DM me and I will give you the detectives email.

Did you package with the refund check ever arrive?

Not yet. It's scheduled to arrive tomorrow. The bank, for now has already refunded me via a dispute. They have the tracking number and are aware there is a check coming. Once I actually receive a check AND it clears my bank, I will drop the dispute and pay them back with the check. This is what they asked for since the seller sent the check AFTER I had already disputed.

Hoping on your behalf they didn't send you a bad check. Considering who you're dealing with, I'd consider that a not insignificant possibility. :p

Fortunately, you're probably only out the NSF fee in that event. Annoying, but not painful.

I actually have a feeling it will go through. I don't think it's co-incidence they
posted another high value timeshare listing right after offering to send a refund. I guess time will tell but either way, I already have my money back. I'm just trying like hell to prevent them from ripping anyone else off!
