I received an update. There is a tech issue they are working on.
How did you even find out they are attempting one? It's sounds like some of you got emails regarding this. As an owner, I have received no info on this. Zip. How long has this been?

Hi Nellevad, I saw on Facebook they have a new payment procedure. I reached out directly through their customer service email and asked how to set up the account. They said that they had already sent out a link to every owner they had an email address for. They sent me an invitation link directly and it didn't work. They did some research with their service provider's tech support and found that some data had been uploaded incorrectly into their system. They said they are working on it. I assume this data error caused a number of owners not to receive their service provider's information regarding setting up their account. I trust that they will reach out when it's ready. Original notifications were only sent out a few days ago, from my understanding.

Ok, thanks. I saw that posting on Facebook about an Owners Portal when they initially started it. I was under the impression they would send me an email, since Concord has my email and I am set up for paperless. They certainly do have a glitch. I suspect it might be owners not affiliated with RCI like me? I'm going to contact them.

Honestly, I just checked Facebook a few days ago, and those 2 postings were not there. I read through all the comments. I don't use Facebook. I am sure many owners don't either.

I agree. They're working on getting everyone's email. Their postage rates are in the thousands of dollars when they have to use US mail. So reaching out to everyone online is in the works.

I just got an email about maintenance fees. It states that if you pay 2024 fees by October 25, you will get a 75.00 credit. This applies only to the first 100 people who send in fees through the new portal. I had a credit with Concord, so that is why it says I am paid up till 2026, I assume.

Just read through the budget letter. MFs are not increasing, and there is no assessment.

Just an FYI, the budget has been "exactly" the same for the past 3 years. Each line item! So they are not doing anything but copy and paste. No real budget to speak of not taking into account how many owners and real costs.

While reviewing the new portal I looked over the options of how to pay your maintenance fee. There seems to be a $24.70 additional charge (platform fee?)regardless of whether it is a one time or recurring credit card or debit charge. Has anyone experienced this?
To avoid this platform fee you need to pay with your bank.
Maybe someone can verify this.
Thank you.

Well, they did explain why the budget is the same. There are not enough known owners to make a budget. I am happy they are willing to front the money to renovate and maintain. Next year I am sure we will get a budget that is realistic, based on solid ownership data, and maintenance data.

Yes.....of course an increase.

Maybe you do not understand how a budget works, it has nothing to do with whether it is 1 owner or 1,000. Costs change year to year especially the last few years and supposedly they have stated they were saving money. An accurate budget is required I would thing as part of the by laws. Without an accurate budget we would have no idea whether the $760 for the past 3 years is accurate, maybe it is too high ( more than likely it is low), but without accurate information done we have no idea.
And where do you see them putting up money to do renovations? They have received probably close to 2 years maintenance fees for every deedback, plus they are responsible for each week they own maintenance fee. Plus a special assessment I am sure will be sent. And no renovations have started yet!

For almost a year we have heard they are working on getting RCI reinstated and still no progress. It is October we have never has a budget this early that I could recall.

All I see is them asking for money and not return the value that was sold to each and every owner. They have not resold any weeks, I am sure it would be difficult, but they should be. I am very suspicious of their motives.. Again everybody can do what they feel is in their best interest.
