Please do not tell me what I should do!They have not asked for money. They ask for what you owe. The timeshare community is not a business for profit. It is a community of owners. You should deed back.
Thank you I did get in touch with them and started the process. Thanks againSure, you can contact: Frank @ Resale Closings, Inc. @: 610-863-1581
He took good care of the deedback. It cost $2,500 but I am officially released from it, which to me was worth it.
That's great....did they tell you it was $2,500 and should take a few weeks?Thank you I did get in touch with them and started the process. Thanks again
I started my process about a month ago with Frank. Nice guy- has been in the Timeshare business for many years and really knows his business. Fun to talk to. Mine took longer because it had a 'wrinkle' (no Quit Claim Deed recorded). But they figured it all out. Cost was $2500-. Sad to see it go. But my children (age 30) have no need (and don't want the trouble of timeshare). Timeshare everywhere has run its course. I traveled using my timeshare for 44 years (bought in 1980!) and completely got my 'monies worth' out of it... I am glad that John Oakes has a new vision for the place. That's great....did they tell you it was $2,500 and should take a few weeks?
Wow, looked like a really nice place to spend their honeymoon.....times sure have changed.I thought some might find these post cards interesting from the Poconos from the 1950’s.
My sister found them inView attachment 101686View attachment 101687View attachment 101688View attachment 101689 our mom’s possessions. Our parents spent their honeymoon at the Fernwood.
Every time I drive by the former Fernwood I am saddened by what remains.Wow, looked like a really nice place to spend their honeymoon.....times sure have changed.
Yes, it's sad. Nothing remains as good as things use to be.Every time I drive by the former Fernwood I am saddened by what remains.
Yes they said it was $2,500 waiting for my paperwork. That's great....did they tell you it was $2,500 and should take a few weeks?
I had the same issue they said no deed recorded which I thought was kind of strange but they said they worked it out also and I'm waiting for my papers. I own my timeshare there for 42 years. I feel the same. I got my moneys worth out of it.I started my process about a month ago with Frank. Nice guy- has been in the Timeshare business for many years and really knows his business. I did not attend however I am also interested in what occurred.I know that EV has sent several emails concerning early maintenance fee payments.Did anyone attend the annual board of directors meeting on Saturday, 11/23/24 at 11am? If so, anything new to report? I assume the budget passed?

Thank you for posting this! The email inadvertently routed to a promotions folder in my email app. I was waiting to extend a few RCI points or let them expire at the end of this year. I just extended them so they could combine with our renewed RCI points in 2025. Summer vacation is on!
Eagle Village Resort is Back with RCI!
For those past owners who are still curious about the redevelopment of Eagle Village. Here is the most recent letter sent to us on Dec. 27th 2024.
Dear Eagle Village Resort Owners,
We have thrilling news to share – Eagle Village Resort is officially back in the RCI network!
Thanks to the hard work of our consulting team, we’ve secured an exciting agreement with RCI to ensure you can continue enjoying all the amazing benefits of your membership.
Here’s what you need to know:
• If you are up to date on your 2025 membership fees by January 15, RCI access for points members will be unblocked for 2025 bookings.
• The consulting company has arranged to purchase points on behalf of all points members current on 2025 fees so that you can enjoy full RCI benefits for 2025 without any inbound stays at Eagle Village through the RCI exchange.
Why no inbound stays in 2025?
Eagle Village will undergo exciting renovations throughout 2025! By limiting inbound guests during this time, we can focus on improving the resort without risking any negative reviews that could affect our RCI standing again.
While we will not accept inbound RCI guests in 2025 due to renovations, Eagle Village Resort owners will still be able to use their week at the resort as usual.
Now is the perfect time to plan your next adventure! Take advantage of RCI’s incredible destinations and start dreaming about where your next getaway will take you.
2025 Membership Fees can be paid using your Owner Portal at http://eaglevillage.app.doorloop.com
If you are interested in a deed transfer please complete the request form at www.EagleVillageResort.com
Happy travels and thank you for being part of the Eagle Village family!
Best regards,
The Eagle Village Resort Team
