I was trying to figure out what Marriott resort this was and had to search in II for HKB to figure it out. I guess the Hyatt forum doesn't have its own photos from the balcony thread.

Sounds like feast or famine.

We didn't see anyone use it the 5 nights we were there in December.

Where I see droplets of water in the mist, MVC sees dollar signs. Do the pools get a lot of use this time of year? I suspect the hot tubs do.

Hot tubs were frequently crowded. Pool not crowded, but usually a couple of people in it.

Very pleased with our room assignment this year at Maui Ocean Club. We own a 2BR OV in the original towers every odd year, so since this is an even year, we booked a 1BR Oceanfront in Lahaina/Napili towers using Abound ClubPoints. We requested high floor in Napili Tower and were assigned room 7306 in Napili Tower. Here's our view:

Not much of a lanai but here's the view from Mountain Valley Lodge - Creekside building. It snowed 13" last two days.

Ocean Pointe: The choice was Cobia 1st floor south side or Pompano 4th floor south side. Could not believe this view from Oceanside 1st Floor Cobia. We had no complaints. Also very convenient to stairs - no waiting for elevators.
