Crystal Shores Pool View (High Floor). We usually try to stay Gulf Front view, but this was also very nice and "gulf front" in its own way.

Biggest downside was the (much) longer hike to the grill area.

I wonder why they didn't add more grills when they built the new tower.

Other than the long hike in the dark (sunsets are at 5:30pm in the winter without DST), you probably don't really need them if you consider the grills per number of family units. I think there are 10 grills overall (8 on the north side and 2(?) on the south side under Stilts) and all the units at the resort are 2BR or 3BR. That's probably a much better ratio than some other locations that have lockoffs and thus many more families staying at the same time.

Ok, so, breaking the rules again but Marriott at least. 140,000 Bonvoy points. A couple of the rooms shown. JW Guanacaste, Costa Rica, 1,350 sq ft! Ok, I did use SNA. That's my personal plunge pool just for us. Super nice place, esp in December, real feel was about 105 degrees today. Will post again once we make Los Suenos Next week.

Marriott's Oceana Palms - Sunrise Tower - North facing ocean view unit. While the view is great, the weather here this week has been kinda crappy. Very windy and cooler temps.

That is an awesome balcony photo from Oceana Palms. The weather on the east coast for the passed several weeks have been terrible (low temperatures and less sunshine days). IMHO.

Our first time to the Westin Lagunamar, great location, great property and very friendly staff. We will be back! This pic is from building 5, 7th floor.

That JW is a great location and 5 nights at 140k in a 1350 sq ft suite is awesome. Last time we were there I also used our suite nights and looked down on a plunge pool just like yours. And you have to love the free breakfast depending on your status. After our 5 nights we drove down to Los Suenos for 7 more. We just booked Los Suenos for Jan '25 and again plan on 5 nights at the JW !

Yes, I think you are the one who told me to! The breakfast was only surpassed by the one at the Fiji Marriott, both were awesome! While not a perfect view here in 2411, there is one benefit, we've been visited by this guy in the photo on 4 days thus far as long as 20 minutes at a time. No one else we have met here has been visited.

I did the same drive, long drive (time wise). Wonderful place (both). Hope you use another SNA at the JW!

The bird is on our balcony.
