My wife is going to Wisconsin in two weeks for her twin sisters wedding. We haven't been back to the mainland since we moved. We already have a visit planned for next June. That will be five years since we have been back.

I'm not going on the wedding trip because all this happened after we had our visit planned but I could tell my wife wanted to go so she is going to surprise her twin sister. She will be staying at her other sisters house.

She was looking at the weather and it looks like highs around 52 and lows around 34. She says she is going to freeze. :D:ROFLMAO:
 
I just found out that I will be going to Warsaw, Poland for a work trip....in February. Talk about freezing! :D I've been/lived in Maine in the winter, but there's cold and then there's.....COLD, LOL!

Happy Aloha Friday!! October is flying by and I see people are making plans for Halloween. Everyone will be talking about Thanksgiving Turkeys soon.

This week's picture takes us to The Kalohi Channel. That's the Channel between Molokai and Lanai. The first whale of the season was spotted on September 9th. That's a little earlier than normal. This is a snapshot of one we saw during our whale tour last March.

Happy Aloha Friday from Coastal Virginia. It feels liked an early start to fall here in Coastal Virginia. IMHO.

Friday left in October and then we move onto November and Thanksgiving.

With this week's picture we again stay home on Molokai at the Molokai Hospital. Kim had her annual tests done and had to have blood drawn at the hospital this week. I snapped this shot while I waited for her. It's a great view up on the hill. Molokai hospital is a part of The Queens Hospital system that Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV started in 1859.

Happy Aloha Friday!!! It's the last Aloha Friday in October and time for Halloween. Next week November begins and it will be Thanksgiving soon.

This week's picture keeps us home here on Molokai and WaveCrest. We were walking up to get the mail this week and there was a mixture of clouds and sun up on the mountain. The mountain is actually the extinct Shield Volcano Kamakou that almost reaches 5,000 feet high.

Happy Aloha Friday!!! Tomorrow we head to Oahu to spend a few days in the old neighborhood before Kim's Eye surgery on Tuesday.

This week's picture takes us back to Oahu and a Sunset we saw in Waikiki from our apartment at Aloha Lani. We were on the 26th floor there and we had some awesome views.
