Happy Aloha Friday

Happy Aloha Friday from Seaside Oregon. We are here for a week. We always come over for the Stormy Weather Art Festival in Cannon Beach. The weather this year is living up to the name. Though we have been here in Shorts and T-Shirts in the past. It is the first full Weekend (Friday - Sunday) of November. We missed last year due to my 9 days in the Hospital. We are in a 3 bedroom Ocean Front Penthouse in the Worldmark Resort.

Yep, we went to bed early and slept in a little this morning too. Must have been that long flight home.:D :LOL:

Happy Aloha Friday!!!! It feels great to be home and if all goes well our next trip will be in June when we head to Denver and Wisconsin for a family visit.


This week's picture is from Waikiki. It's an older picture from the beach on a cloudy day. This trip was awesome and it felt good to be back in the old neighborhood checking out some new and old spots. Kim's surgery seems to be a success and she can see much better. Oahu and Waikiki will always have a special place in our hearts. ❤️

Happy Aloha Friday! This picture was taken as we were leaving Kauai ( :cry: sniff) in 2022. You can see Kaua'i Beach Villas, Sleeping Giant (Nounou Mountain), Wai‘ale‘ale (in the clouds), and Kalalea Mountain (King Kong Peak).

And your trip back to Wisconsin is just a little further around the corner.

We've had our first snow already, but next week's forecast looks like a flashback to mid October.

Wow, that will be a nice change.

We are looking forward to staying home for a while now. We made a lot of short trips this year.

As long as we don't get snow in June we'll be good. :D

Yep us too, deer hunters are not happy in Wisconsin with this forecast.

I remember hunting a few times and sweating like crazy dragging a deer out. My brother texted me and he has gotten two doe in the last week so he'll be sitting holding out for a buck now. At least he won't be cold. :D

It won't be long now. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday and Kauai is a great place to be for it. shaka
 
Happy Aloha Friday!!! Next week is my Favorite Holiday, Thanksgiving and then the countdown to Christmas begins.

This week's picture is from where we will enjoy our Thanksgiving, Hiro's Ohana Grill. It has become a tradition for us to go to Hiro's on Thanksgiving and next Thursday we will keep the tradition alive.

Talking about Deer Hunting. You shouldn't have to go very far if you want to go Deer Hunting. There was a story tonight on Hawaii news about the vast amount of wild deer on Molokai and they are looking for hunters to cut the herd down. There was a video that some people on motorcycles took with 2 herds crossing the road at once and they were caught on the road in between the croosing herds.

We had this happen to us on the west side. I started this video and I missed about a minute more of deer running across


I got rid of all my hunting equipment when I moved. I have had some people say they would take me out. I may get back into it. Right now I have been getting all the venison I want from friends. The local hunting club does giveaways throughout the year when they give out ground venison. shaka
