Yes, you sure can. I suggest downloading the free app Stellarium. It's easy to see once you know what you are looking for but it can be tough the first time, especially if it is clear and there are a lot of stars.Hey Jeff-
Can I see "The Southern Cross" from here? I'm not even an astronomy amateur status. I just love the CS&N song. ( hence I used it in my St. John power point slide show I made.. Skip to 4 min for the song ) There is one mistake in my video, but I haven't fixed it & unless you're familiar with St John, you won't notice.

If anyone purchases a Planisphere like Art shows, make sure you get one for your area. Mine in Hawaii is for 20 to 30 degrees. I am at 22 degrees here on Molokai.
