Happy Aloha Friday! We are back from Nevada, and I was so happy to see that my Strawberry tower thrived while we were gone! These plants were started from bare roots about a month ago. (It's supposed to be 80º here in Northern CA, today!)

Happy Aloha Friday!!! It's the last Aloha Friday of April and we will quickly be into May. It's hard to believe that in 45 days we are headed back to the mainland for the first time in Five years. Well for me anyway.😀

For this week's picture we stay on Molokai and head over to the Westside by Kepuhi Beach. There is a nice spot by Kaiaka Rock to sit on the beach and enjoy the waves coming in.

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!!🤙🏻🌺🌴😎

Happy Aloha Friday!

It's getting warm enough in MN for longer bike rides, including a ride from Minneapolis to the Coon Rapids Dam. We stopped for awhile to watch the waters from the Mighty Mississippi on their way to New Orleans.

Happy Aloha Friday. This week or very soon will be fixing the cabin week. There was a tree on the cabin. A branch did poke a hole through the roof and the power line was pulled off the gable. I started up the well and will need to line the suction pipe as it's sucking air. A couple of things I do like about being up there is no phone service and no internet. I kind of enjoy fixing things so having these problems are a sort of blessing to keep me active. So far I have removed the tree and re-attached the power line to the corner and cut some of the tree into 8ft sections to move out of my way.

Happy Aloha Friday!!!! The first Aloha Friday in May and Mother's Day is right around the corner.

This week's picture keeps us on Molokai and takes us to toward the North East side. The road drops off to a single lane and you can't miss Mokuho'oniki Rock offshore. It's a great dive spot with Hammerhead Sharks around.

Enjoy and have a Great Aloha Friday and an Awesome Weekend!!🤙🏻🌴🌺😎

Happy Aloha Friday: Here in northern California, it's very rainy today, which is unusual for May in CA. My garden likes it!

Happy Aloha Friday!!!! It's Mother's Day weekend so that means it also my Wifey Baby's Birthday this weekend. Sounds like some rain on Saturday but hopefully it goes through quickly.

This week's picture is another from here on Molokai at WaveCrest. Another week of laundry and another beautiful day with some more fishing going on. It always a beautiful sight.🤙🏻

Enjoy, have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great weekend!!!🤙🏻🌴🌺😎

Aloha Friday!

We stay in Kauai each year, and often another island. It's so hard to choice when we love all of them. Next winter we'll stay in Waikiki. It already has me thinking of Duke's breakfast buffet, great food and great view. :whooopie:

Duke's Waikiki is one of my wife's and my favorites. We lived a few blocks from there and really enjoyed the breakfast there. And you gotta love the view.🤙🏻🌴

Happy Aloha Friday! We are at our home in Reno, and tomorrow we are going to drive over Mt. Rose (36 miles) to spend a week at our timeshare in Incline Village: Hyatt High Sierra. (North Shore Lake Tahoe) We adopted this timeshare on TUG, and this is our 2nd visit. The weather is sunny, and in the 70's during the day, so it will be nice hiking weather. We will also try some restaurants, visit the on-site casino, and relax - no real agenda.

Do I have this correct that you own 20 weeks at Pono Kai in Kapaa? We are there right now and it is a very nice resort in a very walkable location which is odd except for Honolulu.

Yes, that's correct. Pono Kai was our first timeshare and our favorite. We love the resort and location. We are making a reservation for next year today.🤙🏻

It is walkable but we always get a car on Kauai. Because it's Kauai.😀🤙🏻

We have been here since May 1 and love it. We have a car and went to the end of the road on both he North and South Shores. We have walked to dinner about 4 or 5 times already; lots of Mexican Restauants here. The real challenge is trying to do it on nights when it will not rain on us walking there or walking back. We are always looking to vacation without a car since we don't drink and drive but like to drink. Also, since we don't own a car with car insurance we need to pay for car rental insurance so rental car costs do add up. We are also looking to be able to continue to vacation around the islands even when we don't feel we can safely drive any longer.

Yes, we love the Pono Kai and Kapaa has changed over the years. Definitely more Mexican Restaurants. The Olympic has been the mainstay over the years.

We were last there in 2022. What building are you in? I Love the B building while my wife loves the F building. So we usually stay in F. :D

Sushi Bushido used to be in town but they moved out to the Coconut Marketplace. Sam's Oceanview just closed. I haven't heard if anything is going in there.

Tiki Tacos is one of our favorites but more for lunch but we love their homemade Tamales on Saturdays but they usually sell out.

Kountry Kitchen is our favorite for breakfast since Ono Family Restaurant closed but the wait can be long.

Hopefully you guys won't get hit with the storms that are supposed to come through. 🤙🏻

Our daughter sent Kim some flowers for her birthday and Mother's Day. They did a nice job on the Bouquet. 🤙🏻

Happy Aloha Friday. Last week's Rolling Stones show picture. I didn't know it , never thought it would happen , but the Rolling Stones while not on our bucket list seems like a bucket list dealio. We were close enough to see how old these guys are but they were better than I thought they would be.
