Hyatt Coconut Point (bonita springs, just south of ft meyers) reports they were spared most of the damage and are actually back open today.
I'm in Fort Myers Beach, we just took on a lot of rain and wind but I do not believe most any resorts in this area should have been affected TOO much..

I mean Margaritaville on FMB took on a bunch of sand in their pool it looks like but besides that I think they're operational. I dont see them having THAT much damage.

I just received this email from Cameron Cove Resort in Indian Rocks Beach near Clearwater:

HURRICANE HELENE UPDATE

As most of you already know, Hurricane Helene struck the west coast of Florida on September 26th. The resulting surge inflicted significant damages to homes and businesses up and down the coast. Camaron Cove Resort experienced some significant damage to the pool and spa and to the common areas as you can see in the photos below.

Fortunately, the units themselves did very well in the storm and are ready for occupancy. Unfortunately, the pool and spa and picnic area will be out of commission for quite some time.

We will keep you posted on the progress.

We got a call from the company that owns the Grand Bohemian in Asheville with the completely-expected notice that our 10/8/24 res is cancelled. I'll be calling Marriott in the next few days to verify that the Club Points will be returned with restrictions.

We'll be watching and waiting to be able to get there as soon as they're ready.

Why would there be restrictions when the Resort canceled on you?

Willow Valley Resort reports closed indefinitely. (boone nc)

Willow Valley Resort is closed until further notice. The Resort has no power, water, phone or internet. Road access is extremely limited as well.
We will update as soon as possible if anything changes. Please be patient with us as we navigate this unprecedented storm for the High Country of North Carolina.

Suntide Island Beach Club (sarasota) reporting closed until further notice

this resort is very close to limetree beach resort, suntide island beach club and sarasota sands so one would imagine they have all suffered similar damage.

Not a report on a resort but just wanted to say, last evening we were speaking with our oldest DS who is a VP for commercial large loss for a large North American wide restoration company. He has over 350 individual multi-million dollar commercial claims as of yesterday afternoon for Florida up to, and including, North Carolina. A number that his company has never seen from just 1 storm and that doesn't include all the residential or smaller (under 1 million dollar) commercial claims. This storm is going to cost the insurance companies many, many, billions of dollars.
