Anyone playing wordle?

Five, mainly because I didn’t even know that was a word.
I had a good start with CHORD revealing the C and O in position, plus an R. I couldn’t think of any words that R could be the last letter so I had CROxx. CROCK and CROWN added nothing. CRONY got the N so all I needed was the last letter. Nothing fit but, possibly, the E. I tried it. It was CRONE. I looked it up and was surprised. Sounds quite sexist. :shrug:

Too many choices left me with a 5 today.
 
FOUR. Again!
A hasty mistake on 2nd word (siblings back east were solving it before I could (long day/night and we were up - being stupid I guess)).
It wasn't the worst mistake I could have made - maybe should have had it in 3?

It took me a very long time also. Finally got it in four. Challenging word.
I am at the beach this morning, my happy PLACE! Got the A and P out of position. Went with HAPPY to move the P, and also to see if I’m psychic. I’m not. But I have the P correct and really had a tough time coming up with the correct location for the A. I finally went with SUPRA just hoping to get another green. That didn’t happen but I I finally saw TOPAZ and tried it. PHEW!
