My sunroom windows are STEAMed this morning. T, E and A out of position. I debate guessing the answer or taking a stab at solving. I focus on words starting with A and ending in TE. AGATE and ABATE look like possibilities but I don’t like the 2 A’s at this point. Suddenly, AFTER pops into my head and I go with it. If I had just ALTERed that one letter, I’d have a two.

The Wordle gods and I met up at the OK Corral. And I did OK. Through three rounds I fought them off, until I had only one round left for guess 4.

As you can see with my 3rd word, I was trying anything. After a bit of an oops on the 2nd word. All ends well, lol.

I’m impressed with your fours. Took me five. Tough word.

I opened with FLASH for no apparent reason. A nice L in second position. I went for more consonants with PRINT and got an R out of position. However, the R had to go in position 4 or 5 and the first letter, in order to work with the L had to be B, C, or G. I tried GLORY which locked the R in position 4. Now, I’m down to either CLxRx or BLxRx. I think it’s CLERK, but it’s not. Fortunately, I’m down to B for consonants and U for vowels. BLURB. Wow!
