How do you find the contest link once you click through from the Dashboard? The MCV site when accessed through Vistana Dashboard seems very scaled down and I don't see a way to access the contest from there. I have both Vistana and MVC and have points in our account, but not from electing VOIs.
I figured it out, though I'm not going to use it myself because I've already entered once from Vistana and once from MVC as a dual owner so taking a third entry due to the trick of the system/design flaw doesn't sit right with me personally.

Marriott sent me an email about the contest that has the "Marriott Link" and the "Vistana Link". So after logging in to the appropriate place, you can click that link to go to the contest. Let me see if I can paste it in here.

I just realized I can participate with both of my MVC and Vistana accounts. I was only participating with Vistana, I lost a lot entries in last few weeks.

I received this nice beach blanket when I checked into Westin Nanea last week. This blanket, a reusable netted bag, a box of chocolates, can of macadamia nuts, and a bottle of wine. It wasn’t a contest win but it was a really nice touch for checking into WNA! All on an Interval Exchange. Westin has always been a step ahead. View attachment 73204
I sure they’re still doing that when we arrive in a couple of weeks, but I don’t want to get my hopes up. My wife would love the chocolates and wine.

Well….I’m probably on their list to NOT invite to presentation, so I’m definitely not on their good side. We have never purchased from developer and kept it (only rescinded twice - once from wkorv pre-construction and once at kahana falls on my honeymoon over 30 years ago) but have attended quite a few presentations. I think the
last Marriott person as we left stated are we ever going to buy from Marriott as it was something like our Xth (double digit) time.

I never win anything even of small value in these types of contests. I play, but don't expect to win. Besides my Chinese horoscope for year of the rabbit says it's not a lucky year for me ;-)

500 PlusPoints again. Still haven’t received the first 2 from January 20 & 21. That does make it 1,500 PlusPoints, 1,000 Bonvoy points, and a Shutterfly book, so far.

Gosh, I have something like 200 sweepstakes entries, but that's it.

After daily winning 1, 2, or 3 entries for that last couple of weeks straight, finally won 500 PlusPoints or 11,200 Bonvoy Points this morning.

As a Vistana only owner who might try out Abound in 2024 or 2025 (haven’t made any plans yet), which one should I choose?

Me too. Finally won the same and have same question. If I win another 500 then maybe could book a night somewhere in Abound. Would be a great way to try out.

Just received email. Says I have 5 days to claim. If I only win 500 pts and not convert from my enrollment, what can I reserve?

I think it really depends on where you live and how flexible you are (weekends vs weekdays). Odds are that 500 or 1000 points won't get you a full week, although in some places it might, especially for a short-term and a smaller unit. If it's an option, I'd find one of these places within driving distance and do a staycation in the off-season.

For example, if you live in Northern California, you can get 5 weeknights in a studio (3 nights in a 1BR) at Timber Lodge - Tahoe from mid-April to early June or mid-October to mid-November. That's about 4 months out of the year that you can get that rate. Or you can do a Fri-Sun stay in a studio. It'd be harder to do at a resort like NCV which is all pricier 2BR units, but you have the Palm Desert resorts in Southern California which have studios at 80-90 points per night during the summer. If you are Executive or above, you can stretch the points further booking within 30/60 days and getting a discount.

There are similar options in FL, AZ, SC, CO, UT and probably a few other places.

Still wouldn’t take me to Vegas with you……1 sweepstakes entry today and still no other prizes other than sweepstakes entries.

Pulse NY is another option, though I get the impression it doesn’t compare with the bHC options there.

I’d take you in a heartbeat; it’d probably improve my odds….

I won 3000 Bonvoy points today. I was pleasantly surprised, but I only need about 27000 more before I can actually use the points for something, so maybe in about 5 years I can get a free night.

You could always just ask for 27,000 Bonvoy points to go to an update....
