That is good to hear - I assume you have not experienced any sessions being hijacked?

That it takes an out of the ordinary event to spur changes and improvements many products and processes require is sort of par for the course but tool / product evolution needs to continue so consumers and businesses can adapt, improve and innovate.
Unless someone is posting links to their Zoom Video Conferences online in public forums or other Social Media, I think the chance of a hijacked conference is low. It seems the risks were probably a little overblown by the media. Sure it can happen, someones email can be hacked or identity stolen. It happens, but it is rare in th grand scheme of things. Of course taking precautions is a good idea.

No I have not experienced any problems because I updated my settings so they can’t be hijacked. I did that before I started using it. Since then, Zoom has also fixed its platform so that more security settings are pre-set since many people do not know how to fix their own settings. As I understand, Zoom was originally designed for people with some technical understanding and that population did not want the setting pre-set. But since their user population “zoomed” from 10 million to 200 million in a matter of weeks, they were not prepared and have since been working on fixing the security issues. Many of the newer users are using the free Zoom platform for social reasons and they are a less technologically sophisticated group.

Microsoft Knocks Zoom Out Of The Park...
Like Microsoft Money was going knock out Quicken. How'd that work out?

Whenever DW has a Zoom meeting, she dresses up.
... But first, she washes and sets her hair.
She says, "If I don't people will talk." Me: What people?

At the time, Money was a superior product IMO. Though I didn't really use Quicken at the time. However, many that had tried both preferred MS Money.

I see Zoom more targeted to personal use, and MS Teams more targeted toward the business user due to the great integration with Office products and a multitude of other tools, many of which are business and software development tools. Zoom is just a video conferencing app; MS Teams is much more than video conferencing. Apples to oranges comparison, IMO.

I'm with you. I loved Money and when it went away I tried Quicken and never could get it to do what Money did without a lot of extra effort.

I use Zoom to “have lunch” with my group of ladies from work, and Zooroom to visit with our Canadian friends that own homes in the same 55 plus park in Florida. I so look forward to these video chats every week!

I am on a Facebook Live call with 175,000 people. It is working like a charm.
