Visited HGVC Liberty Place, Charleston.

Great place, though we now know we like Charleston more when it’s not summertime. It was hot and humid!

Pics are from the general balcony on the 2nd floor. Nice place for happy hour.

It was very nice! Yes, the first W57th stay as owners. Was a last minute reservation, we decided to stay the night after dropping off a relative at JFK earlier in the day since there was a 1BR available. Had the evening hors d’oeuvres and breakfast the next morning in the lounge. Did not disappoint! The room was also ready early as well.

I’m not an owner at W57th but I’ve stayed in a one bedroom unit before as well. Very nice, spacious accommodations. Nice restaurant at the corner, Rue 57; convenient grocery in the block with hot meal buffet; walking distance to Lincoln Center and the beautiful area around there. Several nice restaurants around there too including Tatiana’s. And, of course, property is steps away from Central Park.

Yes, great location and rooms. Have stayed several times before as a non owner.

At one of the owners updates there, the salesperson looked at our stay history and said “you should own there based on your stay history”

And she was right, just not at retail prices though!

It is just steps away from shopping on 5th Ave and seems like about three restaurants in each block. Closer to the theater district than other properties. On this NYC trip I learned that East is just on the other side of 5th Ave. Can’t believe I had not figured that out sooner. Just always stayed on the west side.
I love visiting NYC.

Of course, once you get south of Washington Square Park, where there is no 5th Avenue, East/West gets more interesting as it follows the angled Broadway and
the divider shifts as one goes North/South. As a native, it's one of those things we take for granted, but it is cool.

We like the W 57th area as Central Park, and the adjacent museums, are more important to us than 5th Avenue shopping. But NYC has something for everyone, and then some.
