The Quin 1 BR Penthouse suite 1901. This is the one that spans the 18th and 19th floors.

W57th - 1 Bdr PH 2602. There is a picture from 2502 previously posted, this is one floor above.

There are two PH units on each of the top two floors - 2501/2502 and 2601/2602 . The 02 PH units are on the eastern half of the W57 building (closer to 6th Ave) and you can see a large white building that is directly south along the more western half of W57. I did not see the 01 PH unit but I suspect that it's view will be entirely blocked by this building as the 01 PH units are on the western half of the W57 building.

View from the bathroom. You can see more and more of the white building blocking the view (the bathroom is the western-most part of 2602).

While this is not quite a picture of the view, this is how the tub fills from the ceiling. I have never seen anything like this before.

I’ve seen something like that before — had to replace the roof!!

First stay at The Quin and walked out to this about an hour ago. I believe some material fell from the building under construction up the block overnight. The block is closed to traffic between 6th and 7th Aves. We walked under that site three times yesterday. Also googled “W 57th St falling debris“ and apparently this block has some history.

Yup. There is a very tall skinny building a few west of the Quin. Right across from W. 57th. It had an enormously tall crane and we used to look at it from our W. 57th window. At one point (when we weren't there), it fell. You'll notice a lot of scaffolding along W. 57th that is not for construction at the particular site, but for protection

And they were adding more scaffolding on Wednesday, for protection.

We were just at Elara and the F1 setup is in full swing. Light railings all along the strip and on Harmon and a number of seat banks and grandstand structures.

We had a north-facing view and a great look at The Sphere. This image, though, captures some of the seating and grandstand setup for the F1 toward Koval direction.

We checked into W. 57th today. Two separate stays - 3 nights and 4 nights. I had called to have them linked, but they still were not quite. The agent at the desk took care of it. She noted that we had requested balcony with our STX (there are only 2). Voila! THey had the balcony for the whole stay.

This is our first time in the 2104 balcony room (2101 a few times). This has a more interesting view being on the east end of the building and not having the other balcony to the east.

This is a 1br Premiere Penthouse unit at The Residences. I figure for the extra points the view would be better. Next time I know to save the points and go with a standard 1br unit.

Does anybody else have recent pictures or have stayed at a 1BR Penthouse at The Residences (NYC). We are staying there next week for the first time and Post #347 got me worried. Too late for changes but it’d be nice to see what we’re walking into.

I guess they were doing some renovations out there. From the room, there is no access to the balcony. Room was fine and actually pretty nice. Much nicer furniture than at Hilton Hawaiian Village Lagoon towers. The bathroom floor is heated which is a plus.

Mine is nothing like that - 11th floor, and overlooking a courtyard with some construction work going on.

I’m still getting used to this app. Sorry for the delay. Continuing on, we stayed at Kohala Suites Sunday-Wednesday. Super quiet. There’s a bbq grill along side the pool & hot tub.

HGVC McAlpin. No balcony so I took a picture from one of the windows. Views from all windows are essentially the same.

Have to go to the lobby or up to the 4th floor lounge to find out if the sun is shining!
