RTU - determining value for resale purchases

Just wondering what measures folks are using to help determine the value of a RTU timeshare contract for sale.

It's much simpler than all that - just look up the Comps on the timeshare websites.

Any chance you could be more specific for a newby? Links or names of sites?

TUG 2 is very helpful but I’m not aware of others and in some cases descriptions don’t provide much detail for what is sold or for sale.

*Be sure you looks at the "sold" prices - not just asking prices, which are often unrealistic.

Free use weeks remaining

# of referrals permitted

Maintenance fees

Current upgrade costs and features to be added

History of per night discounted rate - changes

Bonus weeks per year

Activated with an external exchange company

Cost of external exchange points transfer from resort

Number of exchanges permitted per year

Number of weeks use for RTU permitted per year

Members benefits - past & current

Cost to transfer to new owner or add beneficiaries

Room class assigned to contract or discount %

Resale potential for new buyer

Blackout dates of membership use

Blackout dates of free use weeks

Amount of points available for external exchange
