Same here on three confirmations. One an AC and two retrades. No Marriott confirmation number on any of them.

Man, I must have lucked out, as my AC exchange I did this weekend did have the Marriott number. I thought this problem was already resolved, but I must just gotten lucky if you guys are still have problems with no Marriott confirmation numbers in the confirmation emails.

I'm curious as to the email address people are emailing II and asking for the Marriott confirmation number? I replied to the email confirmation yesterday asking for it and have no reply. I know I can email Mark, but wasn't sure if there was some other email I should be sending my request to?

I used the customer support, Email Us function on II's website. I received a response in less than an hour.

Well, my problem has not been resolved. I booked Marriott Shadow Ridge two days ago for September using my last AC. The very same problem I had last month, was exactly the same. I received an email from II that did not include the Marriott reservation number. I called Marriott and got a person who was located in Canada. She had no knowledge of where to obtain the Marriott number. After being on the phone with that very poor English speaking person, I decided to call Interval. Now, this person was in Mexico with the same communication problem. He didn't understand anything. So, finally, the Marriott rep with II was able to find the correct number for me to add to the reservation. I dislike needing to go through all these changes every time I book a vacation.

Update: A friend booked a getaway yesterday. She received the emailed confirmation from II, but it did not include the Marriott reservation number. It took her 45 minutes between Marriott and Interval to finally find the reservation number for her to add the week to her BonVoy account. Bottom line, this problem has not been resolved. Who wants to go through this every time we book our reservations with Interval now?

I emailed II on Monday about a confirmation number and got a reply from them yesterday. That was just by replying to the original confirmation email. You can also email their regular customer service or Mark. Apparently that is faster. No need to wait on the phone. Also, this isn’t something Marriott can help you with. It would be 100% in II’s purview.

I'm still at a lost. II doesn't have a clue. Thanks so much for the updates. Going forward, we'll reply to the email directly or contact Mark. I'm not happy with this change since it's a waste of time and energy.

Is this a Marriott or an II, IT problem. Someone needs to fix the problem. IMHO.

Does anyone agree with my assessment?

It appears to be an Interval issue. Why they made this change is beyond me. The old system worked fine.

This thread has been very helpful. In terms of time saved and aggravation avoided, it's worth the price of my TUG membership! I've had 2 recent transactions (purchased a Getaway and made an ePlus retrade, both for Marriott resorts). Neither confirmation had the Bonvoy number.

Calling Marriott Bonvoy to try to get the Bonvoy confirmation number didn't help at all.

Calling Marriott Vacation Club owner services was better. I was fortunate to get a rep who put me on hold while she contacted II for me. But Mark actually responded to my email more quickly, even before the owner services rep came back on the line.

In case you missed it, the key in this thread is within the link in post #43.

Some one needs to put the pressure on II, IT to fix / correct this problem.

Another retrade. The new confirmation email didn't have the Marriott/Bonvoy confirmation number. I also still can't lookup reservations on Marriott.com. Still getting this error.

Ditto. IMHO, someone in management needs to address this problem.

This problem needs to bump above the IT level. ASAP

I didn’t get a Marriott reservation number. Wait until the next day and went to history and clicked resend confirmation. The new one had the confirmation number

Went to add via website and got error. But the app worked just fine.

I'll try the resend link tomorrow.

Resending the confirmation has the same results. I sent them from two different II login profiles. Neither had the Marriott confirmation number.

email them and ask for the number.
That is that the solution. How many Getaways are purchased by Marriott’s and Vistana owners during the course of a year?

IMO, someone in upper management needs to address this issue.

how long does it take for Marriott to post nights / points earned after a stay is complete? The trip information simply disappeared even from “past trips”. Curious if it’s normal.

We had a stay that ended on Saturday and the nights were in our Bonvoy when I checked yesterday. It probably depends on the property, but they have up to 10 days before you can open a missing stay request.

Yeah I will give it some time. I was able to add the confirmed trip so likely it won’t go “missing”.

It’s posted to my Bonvoy account. Also similar to others experience, I booked 5-night short stay and it turned up as a full week and gave me 7-night credit. Actually at check-in, they really expected me to show up 2 days earlier and stay for 7 nights. Not sure if it’s a “loophole” but I doubt they care if you stay for the full week they assign you.

My understanding, and the whole process is strange, they will let you checkin on any of the days of the week but the resort knows how many days II is giving you and will turn off your keys after those number of days. So if you show up early for the ShortStay, you can be burned by not being able to get back into your room after the number of days in your ShortStay.

This however could be a loophole for a mattress run for Elite nights if you happen to be short.

Is this confirmed or just speculation? The way check-in sounded is like “you booked for 7 days and why did you check in late?”. At a point I was about to check in one day early because of the bad experience at Animal Kingdom lodge and I called in and they confirmed the room was already available. I didn’t mind to pay for an extra day but I had a feeling they simply thought you had booked 7 days. Anyone actually tried to stay longer?
