New interval international getaway confirmation without Marriott confirmation number [merged]

What is the real reason for the omission of the Marriott Reservation Number on II Reservation after over thirty (30) years with the reservation number showing on the II Form?

No one at Marriott or II could answer this question for me. They only said the new confirmation is no longer in pdf form. I don't want to waste time every time I book a week with me needing to call either of them. That call yesterday took about 30 minutes, plus I had to give my personal information to each one again and again. That's too time consuming. Just add the Marriott number back to all confirmations!

You can also email the TUG II Members mailbox (aka Mark) to request the number.

I guess you can just add it at check-in and still get the credit

IT should test and analysis the problem and fixed the problem. IMHO
This is not Mark problem. This is an IT Problem and should be address by IT. ASAP. This an embarrassment on the IT staff.

But until it is fixed, it is the only way to get the information. I can't control II or MVC IT.

I made a reservation via II last Saturday, July 13, 2024. The Marriott reservation is not on the confirmation. I was told that it would no longer be included and that I should ask the resort to include it upon arrival. I'm still livid from the time I wasted trying to get help to add the reservation to my Marriott BonVoy account. This is all new as of July 1, according to the II agent. As owners and members of Marriott we should all complain and request that the reservation number be added automatically.
Adding the reservation number is a plus for me since I then add it to the Wallet on my iPhone. This is only done once the reservation shows in our BonVoy accounts.

Just made an II trade into MKO on July 13 2024 and in the email I was sent, there is a marriott confirmation number on it. Wonder what is up with the different confirmation emails?
I'm wondering if you received the new conformation form via email, or is it in pdf form? They are doing away with sending pdfs. I do like the new form that has better information, but put the Marriott reservation on all of them. Oh, btw, when I called Interval, the agent only had the information pertaining to the owner who deposited the unit into II. I had to sit and listen to her going on and on about when the unit was deposited and by whom. What a waste of my time.

What percentage of the guests even care about the Marriott confirmation number though? Many people just show up and aren't even Bonvoy members. The room is still there for them. RCI doesn't provide the Marriott confirmation number on their confirmation emails into Marriott properties. We still added our Bonvoy number to an RCI booking at checkin last year and received credit.

It is quite possible that II never fixes this and has their reps start telling people it is no longer available and they won't even provide it. Marriott seems to have a concern about people getting Elite Night Credits when they shouldn't and I know some people have reported getting ENCs after doing retrades of an exchange. Perhaps this is their way of preventing that?

I received a confirmation of an exchange this morning via email and indeed it did not contain the Marriott Confirmation Number as it did in the past. Annoying!

I found the confirmation number on mine. It wasn’t necessarily obvious, but I know what a Marriott confirmation # looks like so I recognized it, even though it didn’t specifically say that’s what the number was

Same here. I did an eplus trade on 7/8 and I got a Marriott conf # I was able to add to my Bonvoy account a couple days later.

It was an email. No more pdf attachments to email anymore.

From what I can see, there doesn't seem to be any pattern as to why certain confirmations contain the number and why others don't.

Will it show up in your History in II?
History doesn't show the confirmation number. The only option there is to resend the confirmation email. But if the first one didn't have it, chances are the new one won't either.
