Happy Aloha Friday

Happy Aloha Friday from Salem Oregon. We are suppose to get 2+ inches of rain in the next 60 hours. I was a bit tired yesterday. I did 3 - 2 hour shifts at the Humane Society in 24 hours. Wednesday 4:30pm - 6:30pm is my normal shift as a Red Dog Walker. I recently added Thursday 8am - 10am as a Red* Walker. This is the Shift Patti takes care of cats. On Tuesday the Head of Volunteers sent out an Email they had problems for the shift 8am - 10am Wednesday as they had no Volunteer Red Dog Walkers signed up. This would normally not be a serious issue as the Permanent Staff would simply Walk the Red Dogs. But for a variety of reasons they were short Permanent Staff on Wednesday morning. This means the Red Dogs would not get out of their Kennels for a Walk/Training. So with Patti's permission I signed up for an extra Shift on Wednesday 8am - 10am. Then after the 8am - 10am shift on Thursday I had my Manicure/Pedicure Appointment. After this I had lunch and then I spent several Hours making sure all the Gutters were clean to get ready for the rain. So by the end of the Day I was a bit tired
 
Happy Aloha Friday from The First Coast! We hit the 50s the past two mornings and it’s been a gorgeous week with highs in The mid-upper 70s. My kind of weather! With the pics, I tried to capture the contrast between the sunrise on the sky and the fog rising over the water this morning. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

The camera didn’t do it justice. The clouds were a pinkish orange (is that a color?) and really stood out against the early morning blue sky.

Took in a last minute fishing trip last weekend with my 5 year old Great Grandson. Its the end of the season so we caught big Chinook, big Steelhead and Coho. Many of the Coho are still bright and do bbq or smoke well. The odds of hooking a big fish are pretty good. Kai can cast and reel in the smaller salmon by himself. With the larger ones, we hold the rod and let him reel. He caught this one with no help other than netting.

Happy Aloha Friday. I work remote, but we gather a few times a year to have in-person discussions...so I spent most of the week in Ft Lauderdale. Weather was great in FL, but happy to be home. It's currently 77 with a high of 82. Forecast is mostly cloudy for most of the day, and the clouds are rolling in at the moment.

Is is Ka'anapali Beach just north of the Kahekili Park, in forms of the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas - North. Many beautiful sunsets this whole month. Can almost see where Jeff lives from here! :D
 
I was too tired from travel to post on Friday, when we arrived at Kona Coast Resort. DH took this photo from the lobby area while I was checking in. Yesterday we enjoyed an exquisite lunch at Rebel Kitchen, met @ScoopKona, shopped in his store, and got a list of food related places to go. Planning lunch at Shaka Tacos today - I want to try the Molokai venison tacos.

Oh, and I found out that Monkey King coffee is the only coffee I’ve ever enjoyed without cream and sugar! Bought some whole beans to enjoy at home!

Happy Aloha Friday!!! We were supposed to be on the west side of Molokai last week but the manager let us know that the hot tub was down but should be fixed this week. We got an email yesterday that the hot tub is fixed and we are all set for tomorrow. We even get to check-in early.🤙🏻

This week's picture takes us back to the West side of Molokai over to Kepuhi Beach. Hopefully, the resort won't be crowded and we can enjoy some quiet beaches.

Happy Aloha Friday from Salem Oregon. We are suppose to once again have a big rain storm for the weekend starting sometime tonight. The Big question is if it will hold off until after most of the Kids go Trick or Treating.
 
Happy Aloha Friday! I’m at Bonnet Creek for a few days. I enjoyed the Epcot Food & Wine Festival yesterday. However, it is quite cool here in central Florida with the temperature at 49 earlier this morning. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
 
Happy Aloha Friday from the Old Folks Home! Last night was our Halloween party ( actually two, one at 6:00 one at 8:00 to accommodate all who wish to attend) because many people have local family and wish to spend this evening with their grandkids. Our Halloween horror is getting through the mandatory annual cognition test this afternoon. Been practicing counting backwards by 7 (-10+3 is my trick) and thinking of words beginning with B, F or S which seem to be the only ones they ever ask. Luckily my art skills are so poor they didn’t see I messed up the hour hand and minute hands on my clock drawing last year. Wish us luck!
 
Happy Aloha Friday..... and Happy Halloween

It's definitely fall in Yakima. I can feel the cold trying to take over. The grandkids came over this week to carve pumpkins. These were the best of the bunch. No one tricks or treats in our area anymore. Most of the kids go to the churches parking lots for trick or treat. Even so, we do have a box of giant sized chocolate bars for the few family members that make it over in costumes.

Happy Aloha Friday from Windward Oahu! It's currently 76 with a high of 82. It's been cloudy most days, but I saw several rainbows this week (love this time of year). I also had multiple dinners with some great friends who happened to be on island for a conference. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Not-so-happy Aloha Friday from the departure lounge at HNL, on our way home after a relaxing week on the BI. Thanks to @ScoopKona, I was able to impress my dad with several delicious meals. More later, after I’m home and not confined to a cell phone keyboard!
