Happy Aloha Friday

Is that a St. Paul Saints t-shirt, @artringwald? I need to pull out mine, but it just says "train" in the front. ;) (I know, I know, they don't play there anymore, more's the pity....)
Yes it is a Saints shirt! You're shirt must be at least 10 years old, because May 21 was the 10th anniversary of the first Saints game in CHS field. When we see a train, we still say "train" in the dull, monotone voice like the wise guy announcer used to do at the old stadium. Thanks for reminding me of that. 😁

Where was that?
We call this the Moon Rocks east of the Little Naches where our trail starts. These climbs are near Manastash Lake. It's in Washington State east of Mt Rainier a ways.

Happy Aloha Friday. Last Monday , without a scratch, I was king of the hill. I was asked when I would know to quit this type of climb. I said when my clutch goes out. As soon as I said that I could hear the throw out bearing saying enough for today.

Please tell me that is an AI photo.

Nope, that's all me with the grand daughters. It's steeper than it looks but not as steep as a few of the climbs we took to get here. It's kind of technical where I need a spotter to point where to turn the wheels and for me it's hard on the clutch because I ride it all the way up. All four of us made it to the top and out the side.

That is just amazing. Wonderful family pictures photo.

Happy Aloha Friday!!! We had some rain last night but we only had some clouds for our round of golf today. Now for a nice quiet weekend.

This week's picture takes us back to Kauai and to Lava Lava Beach Club right by the Coconut Marketplace. We always enjoy visiting there. It's a great place to relax in the early afternoon and take in the waves coming ashore.

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!!🤙🏻🌺🌴😎

Happy Aloha Friday!

Here's another special memory from our trip in 2000. For my parents anniversary, I booked a table at the Oceanarium Restaurant in the Pacific Beach Hotel. If you arranged it ahead of time, they would give you a table next to the giant aquarium. When the diver came to feed the fish, she put a sign with an anniversary message next to the table. The sign had lettuce attached to it, so all the fish swarmed to the sign.

Sadly, the restaurant is gone, and now the hotel is the ʻAlohilani Resort, but the aquarium is still there. If you're in Waikiki, it's worth a visit.

Family Memories photos are the very best thing to past down to our children and grandchildren.

Outstanding family photo artringwald.

Happy Aloha Friday from the First Coast! It’s a beautiful morning here in St. Augustine. When I came out in the sunroom for my morning ritual of coffee, sports headlines, more coffee, TUG, more coffee, and puzzles, I wanted to go to the beach. But, I have too much to do today so, maybe to tomorrow. 🏖️ 🌊

Happy Aloha Friday from Salem Oregon. This week we had our Gas Furnance and AC Units replaced. We thought long and hard about putting in a Heat Pump. Finally decided against the Heat Pump. With a 95% Efficient Gas Furance the Heat Pump would have been wasted. This weekend we are supposed to set Heat Records with it hitting the mid 90's for Sunday and Monday. Then back into the 70's by Wednesday.

One interesting thing mentioned by the Installers is that there will likely be a shortage of Refrigerant Gases this Summer.

Happy Aloha Friday. Yesterday was rainy and overcast. We'll see what today brings. Hope everyone has a phenomenal weekend. I can't compete with @easyrider, but here's a pic of my Jeep in Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden. It's a garden that is "Instagram famous". This isn't the spot that made it famous, but still a good spot...made even better with a Jeep in the pic.

Happy Aloha Friday.

My favorite pictures of Kauai are of the Na Pali Coastline. I took this off the deck of the Pride of Hawaii some years back. I'm thinking of framing some of our favorite photos.

Love that Jeep and it so sparkling clean. That must be a Happy Aloha make Jeep.

Happy Aloha Friday! Coming off of three days of jury service, which blew a big hole in my schedule, I have a very busy day today. And it’s supposed to rainy all weekend here. Happy Father’s Day weekend to all who celebrate!

Happy Aloha Friday from Salem Oregon. Today is suppose to be Sunny with a High of only 68. Tomorrow will be an early start. We will be leaving the House about 5am to go and help setup for the Humane Society Doggie Fun Walk Fund Raiser at River Front Park.

Happy Aloha Friday!!! We have our reservation for a Fathers Day dinner at Hiro's on Sunday so I'm all ready for the Prime Rib. Happy Father's Day to all this weekend!

This week's picture keeps us on Molokai and over to the West side to Kepuhi Beach. It was a beautiful day to take a walk along the coast. We already have our reservations to stay out there in October.

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!🤙🏻🌴🌺😎

Happy Aloha Friday from The First Coast! I’m at my favorite beach, Vilano Beach, in St. Augustine. It is currently 82, going up to a high of 84 today. There’s a nice breeze so it is very pleasant here.

I’m looking forward to Sunday when DD and DW are taking me to a restaurant, Valley Smoke BBQ, that we’ve recently discovered. It bills itself as an “upscale southern bbq joint” and all three of us love it. They serve brunch on weekends and I’m really wrestling with the question of whether I should order my favorite brunch dish, chicken and waffles, at a bbq restaurant. It seems like blasphemy but everything we’ve had from there has been delicious. I probably won’t decide until everyone else
has ordered and the waiter/waitress is staring at me. 😀

Everyone have a great Friday, a wonderful weekend, and a happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!

Happy Aloha Friday. The weeks started off kind of hot but is now just right. Two of my older grand daughters asked if they could be paid for working on whatever I have going on. Tomorrow I'm taking them to an overgrown lot I sprayed last month to rake and bag all of the dead vegetation which includes plenty of cheat grass. Should be interesting.

I think this is St Benedict's Church on Big Island.

Happy Aloha Friday!!!! June is moving right along and the weather has been great. Nice trade winds, mid-80's and nice evenings. 🤙🏻

This week's picture takes us back to Oahu, across the street from where we lived at Aloha Lani. I took this picture on a nice walk along the Ala Wai Canal with Diamond Head in the background.

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend. 🤙🏻🌴🌺😎

Happy Aloha Friday!

We've been to Hanalei several times, but in 2022, it was one of those days when the sky was clear above the mountains.

Happy Aloha Friday from Salem Oregon. Major change in the Weather today and tomorrow. High in the 50's with Rain both days. We need the Rain. Then back into the 70's and 80's.
