Happy Aloha Friday

Happy Friday from Tacoma.
Lawn mowing day, on the rider for 3 hours. Rare sunny April
Dog chases me/mower around, gotta keep watch.
Wife is spending her birthday today in Denver/business.

Happy Aloha Friday! Here in Hades, Northern CA, we are expecting a high of 82 today, and my roses are blooming!

This is from an ad, but it was so pretty I had to post it.

I'm thinking tomorrow will be my first day on the riding mower. I need to change the oil first. It looks like the grass is way ahead of me with some areas over 12 inches tall. It's only a two hour job with ball and toy hazards to watch out for. Then there are the weeds and grasses around the fence that grew in that need to be dealt with. That will take another hour or longer if the sprayer isn't wanting to cooperate.

I actually enjoy this chore, lol.

Happy Aloha Friday!!! It's amazing how quiet it is here around WaveCrest. We had a little rain on a couple of holes golfing today. Summer is on the way.

This week's picture takes us back to Oahu and Waikiki at Aloha Lani. I took this picture on our back hallway on a beautiful evening. 🤙🏻

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!!🤙🏻🌴🌺😎

Happy Aloha Friday from Coastal Virginia today. Today and this weekend it will be clear and sunny; with temperatures in the lower eighties .

Happy Aloha Friday from the First Coast! This was my view yesterday afternoon as I enjoyed happy hour on my patio. It’s been a beautiful week here and looks like it should continue through next week.

Happy Aloha Friday from Salem Oregon. Today it will be Sunny and in the mid 70's. However it is our last day of warm weather. Tomorrow we will start a period of 7 to 10 days in the 50's and 60's. Though I am a long term Oregonian that I think a temperature in the mid 60's is great. For me that is Shorts and T-Shirt Weather.

Happy Aloha Friday from the windward side of Oahu. It's been cloudy and rainy for a few days; however, Hawaiian Telecom finally extended their network into our neighborhood. They bring fiber to the house and have a smokin' deal on 1-gig connection. I updated our home network to a mesh network (using Asus routers) in anticipation of their service and our renovation finishing around the same time (needed to extend the coverage of the network). I wish I had installed the mesh much earlier!

Today's pic has nothing to do with the above :). It's from a recent trip we took to one of the "secret" beaches. It's a Red-vented Bulbul. I admired its beauty, then looked it up as I was unfamiliar with it. According to DLNR, it's an invasive pest on Oahu causing damage to agriculture and gardens; it causes $300,000 in damage to orchids every year. Apparently it likes its invasive moniker so much, it also spreads invasive plant seeds as a normal course of business...

Happy Aloha Friday !!! I've been doing yard work this week. Nothing too interesting but keeping busy for a few hours each day. It's been nice out.

The picture is looking up into the wild Palm trees at Indian Canyons.

When you said you had been doing yard work, I thought you meant that you had been trimming these trees! 😀

Happy Aloha Friday!

In MN tulips, daffodils, and daylilies are starting to pop up through the ground. Tally's Dockside, my favorite bike destination will soon be open on White Bear Lake. Spring is arriving!

Happy Aloha Friday!!! It's the last Aloha Friday in April and next week we are in May. That means our Kauai trip is coming up fast.

This week's picture keeps us here on Molokai. We took this picture while driving to town during a short rain shower. No rain, no rainbows. 🤙🏻

Enjoy and have an Awesome Aloha Friday and a Great Weekend!!!🤙🏻🌴🌺😎

Aloha from Salem Oregon. Yesterday got to the high 70's and Sunny. Today is suppose to get to 70 and partially cloudy. Patti's gardening group (they help take care of Bush Park) is having their Spring Plant sale today and tomorrow.

This is truly a Happy Aloha Friday for me and my family...

Two weeks ago on our way down to Florida to stay at our TS's my hubby had a heart attack on I-75-South and I was able to drive him to a hospital and from there they transferred us to a bigger hospital that could help him and last Wednesday he had quadruple bypass heart surgery. All of this happened in a hospital that was 6.5 hours away from our home in Michigan.

So today, I feel like we have a new lease on life and its truly a Happy Friday

So glad you made it to a hospital in time! We all hope his recovery makes good progress.

Happy Aloha Friday. It's definitely spring here and still a bit cool.

I'm having problems adding pictures.

Happy Aloha Friday. It's been partly cloudy most of the week, but we also had a good mix of sun and rain [yes, I could likely state this every week]. In keeping with the bird theme from last week, here's another one...it's a White-rumped Shama.

Wishing your husband and your family a very special Happy Aloha Friday.

Happy Aloha Friday!!! Of course many of you may not see this until Saturday. I was getting nostalgic about our first trip to Hawaii in 1979. It's the only time we drove to the top of Haleakala. We were so young! Now we wonder when our last trip might be. We had plenty of great trips, so we can't complain.

@artringwald - Thank you and I am as well, the first hospital was only a small 10 bed hospital and they had to transfer him by ambulance to Baptist Hospital in Richmond KY, which was a 25 minute ride and they performed the heart cath and then sent him by ambulance, 45 minutes away to CHI Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY, which is where he had his open heart surgery...I'm so blessed that he is alive...
