Bring your coat and gloves.Personally, I'm vested in the Idaho Potato Bowl on 12/23.
Right! Carolina Blue is going to pay him 10 millions dollars to coach their football team. I wonder will the boosters build him a house on campus to live in .Patriot Bill's dream is to go back to college at age 72

Yeah, not sure Bill moving to a college town is such a good idea. For her!I'm guessing he will have a nice house in Chapel Hill (with his 24 year old girlfriend)
Clearly Oregon should be favored. Only undefeated team, and has 3 wins over other playoff teams already. Having said that, any team that can go 3-0 or 4-0 in that bracket will inarguably be a deserving champion.
The head coach does not recruit players. They have a special assistant coach to recruit players and to bring those recruit on campus for anThis is going to be an interesting experiment.
Pros:
2nd winningest coach in NFL history with 333 wins
Coached 9 Super Bowl teams
6 Super Bowl wins
Cons:
72 years old and has never coached a single day in college
Will be coaching a school that cares more about basketball than football (this could be a pro)
Recruiting 17-18 year olds, who were 11-12 when the last won the Super Bowl, is a huge part of the job
Never won anything without Tom Brady, the GOAT, as his qb
I was always a Patriots fan because I admired their consistent excellence. He was a great coach with Brady as his qb. He was a mediocre coach, and made some very puzzling decisions, after Brady left. I just don’t know if he is going to be able to attract the talent needed to win at NC. Either way, It will be fun to watch.
I wonder what can of automobile/vehicle will the booster club lease to him and the color of the vehicle? LOLI'm guessing he will have a nice house in Chapel Hill (with his 24 year old girlfriend)
Good point, but UNC has never had that. The AD who, reportedly, did not want to hire Belichick, has no experience working with a GM and a coach who both may have more power than him. The GMs’ only college experience was 1981-84, 40 years ago, at UNLV. The head coach has none. I think this model can work. My concern is how long will it take to get everyone on the same page and turn the program around? Let’s face it, at 72, Belichick isn’t going to be there long. Will it be long enough? The head coach does not recruit players. They have a special assistant coach to recruit players and to bring those recruit on campus for an

Makes one wonder why the need for a 12 team playoff if a team has already beat 3 of the others.Clearly Oregon should be favored. Only undefeated team, and has 3 wins over other playoff teams already. But there aren't 4 "super" conferences. Boise State was higher ranked than the B12 and ACC champions. Notre Dame isn't even in a conference and they're higher ranked also.Makes one wonder why the need for a 12 team playoff if a team has already beat 3 of the others.
Top 4 super conference champions would have been better.

I'm honestly fine with calling Oregon #1 if you're against a playoff. They're the #1 seed for a reason. Can they be beat? Of course. Both BSU and OSU took them to the wire. Will it be a travesty if Oregon doesn't win it all? I don't think so, even though they're the consensus #1 team going in.
Haters just need to let things play out. As I've said, just like nearly every other major sport, when it's all over in a month, nobody's gonna be claiming the national champion isn't worthy.
There is talk of Barry Sanders record being broken. What you says makes sense but how many teams would lose a game and how many would still play the same and how many would still play more?IMHO, the regular football season needs to be shortened if they are going to increase the football playoffs games.
Wow! Alabama at #4 ahead of both Georgia, who they beat, and Tennessee, who beat them. As I always say (when they’re on my side), the numbers don’t lie!Final ESPN FPI College Football Rankings Revealed
