I had the answer and changed it because I thought it had already been the Wordle before. I checked it against the bot and was a little surprised to see my results almost matched exactly.
Oh gosh, I don't think I can possibly remember past ones. Somedays, today for example, I did mine so early, I forgot what it was as I start reviewing what others did.

I was always using the same starter and got bored. Now I'm all over the place, whatever comes to mind, I go with. I agree with this guy - I suspect using a burner should prevent you from losing. I don't take long to do wordle, just go on first hunch, I like getting it done somewhat quickly. Unlike connections where I can waste to much time. I try not to, I get to a point I go for it because sometimes the answers likely anyways. I play the mini crossword, I like it is timed so get it done quickly - almost always (rarely faster than my brother, though, grrrr). I started playing waffle and I like that a lot. I've tried the spelling bee, but that can take a lot of time. I really could play games all day (and shouldn't). Fun to share on here, I enjoy it!
We play Spelling Bee off and on individually all day and compare our words at dinner.

What do you think about this guy's suggestions: https://www.jwghostwriter.com/What_is_the_best_way_to_win_at_Wordle

BTW I had to look up "hard mode" and "burners". :D
To tell you the truth, I think the way he plays is boring. I use a different starter word every morning (and obviously a different second word given that my first word changes) and don't use burner words out of fear of losing. He is on his third word before he even puts any thought into the puzzle.

As far as his success rate, my stats are actually a bit better than his outside of the fact that he has had a 100% success rate while I have lost once.

As for how I play the game, like @Sandi Bo, I start with the first word that comes to mind and go from there. I’ve heard the argument that if you use the same word every day, eventually, it will be the Wordle. I’ve hit on my first try twice so I don’t buy that argument. Sometimes, I do spend several minutes trying to resolve the wod. If I get to my 4th or 5th try with no clue, I get very serious because I don’t want to fail. Is anyone playing Strands? Some mornings I spend a lot of time on that one. I usually play it last so if I need to walk away and do something, at least I’ve finished all the others and can come back to it when I have time.

For wordle the first word is usually chosen from a group of about 10 words but I often use a word which just happens to pop into my head that morning. For me the second word is the make or break word which determines my result for that day. I usually put a lot of thought into that one. Although my game is set for easy mode I almost always play as if its in hard mode, using the color letters. Its been mostly working for me so far.

I also play multiple games including connections, strands, spelling bee, tiles, letter boxed, waffle and quordle. Sometimes sodoku or the mini crossword. I try to spread these out throughout the day to stay out of trouble.
IMHO letter boxed is the hardest and connections is the most frustrating.
