I bombed today, just having no focus, repeating letters which were already established as not good. I woke up at 3:30am because I am antsy about a golf tournament which I am playing in this morning. Anyway, I am headed out the door in a few minutes and the sun is not even up.
Hit'em straight!
Have a good time out there ⛳

I hope you had, are having, a good round! Having said that, I remember a few years when I got up before sunrise on my day off to try and break 100 on the golf course. What the hell was I thinking?

A blip of excitement, followed by a slow crawl to a FIVE!

? for everyone. If your first guess unveils 2 letters do you use those 2 letters in your next guess, like Sandi did here, or do you use 5 new letters? I usually use 5 new letters in my second guess. I think it improves my odds but does it?

I don't use 'burners', or I can't remember the last time I did. Just me.
Hard-mode enforces that rule (no burners). I think hard-mode might be easier (unless you like to use burners).

I would use the two letters and try to guess the wordle. My goal is almost always to guess the word. Yes, I know it’s highly unlikely on the first or second guess, but when I hit, I get such a feeling of satisfaction. It is very rare that I get into a situation where I’m searching for letters rather than trying to solve the word.

I had the answer and changed it because I thought it had already been the Wordle before. I checked it against the bot and was a little surprised to see my results almost matched exactly.

Got all 5 letters in 2 but did a coin flip and lost. So 4 it is for me.

What do you think about this guy's suggestions: https://www.jwghostwriter.com/What_is_the_best_way_to_win_at_Wordle

BTW I had to look up "hard mode" and "burners". :D
I was always using the same starter and got bored. Now I'm all over the place, whatever comes to mind, I go with. I agree with this guy - I suspect using a burner should prevent you from losing. I don't take long to do wordle, just go on first hunch, I like getting it done somewhat quickly. Unlike connections where I can waste to much time. I try not to, I get to a point I go for it because sometimes the answers likely anyways. I play the mini crossword, I like it is timed so get it done quickly - almost always (rarely faster than my brother, though, grrrr). I started playing waffle and I like that a lot. I've tried the spelling bee, but that can take a lot of time. I really could play games all day (and shouldn't). Fun to share on here, I enjoy it!
