I guess I’m the loser with a five!
I threw myself a CURVE and got an E out of position. I then tried to SNEAK one in and was successful in getting the E correct. I actually thought of WHEEL here but didn’t want to do the double E yet. Big mistake! Tells you my level of PIETY. Finally, I went with the double E, but with the wrong word, BLEED. I did eventually get the WHEELs back on the road.

TRACE popped into my head and filled it with four letters. Those four letters help spell one of my favorite starter words, HEART.

Five. I thought that I might have it in three, but had to choose between two words (see spoiler). As it turned out, they were both wrong.

After my second word, I was choosing between "weary" and "teary." Then I had to choose between "heard" and "heart." Not my luckiest day.

I thought I MIGHT, but I didn’t. FIBER is good for you, but did nothing for me this morning. LILAC is one of my favorite aromas, I C. Wordle is being very PICKY today. Ugh! I hate DISCO!
