Anyone playing wordle?

A very quick two this morning.
As I gazed over the keyboard this morning, in search of that perfect word, I thought of SAUCE and didn’t remember using it before. I actually prefer hunting consonants with my first guess but I decided to stick with it and it worked out great. The starting S with U and C needing homes. I thought the C most likely went in second position with the U in fourth as I couldn’t think of any 5 letter words that started SCU. So, SCxUx. Has to be SCOUT, right? Fortunately, I didn’t think of SCOUR until just now or I would have gone with it first. Phew!

FOUR - should have been 3. Wordle, you owed me a quick one after yesterday. On to my day :)
Must have needed more coffee. I was trying to think of a word with O and U in it, but went with SCOOT first. Shoot, lol.

Me too!
Another 4. We came at it from different ends of the word.

Six. Could have been three. Not a fan of rhyming words when there is no clue. It's all luck at that point.

I'm not lovin it. Another twenty seven rhyming word guesses and I would have had it.

Four. Meh.
Let me THINK. Oh, a T and H. Since the TH doesn’t belong at the start, let’s try it at the end with SOUTH. Nope. I need to identify the vowel(s) so I go with HEART and it works, getting the H correct and identifying E, A & R in addition to T as the remaining letters. I just have to unscramble them. HEART turned into HATER, which really isn’t a good way to start the day.

Three. That sounds good, but I am kicking myself for not getting it in two. I moved a known letter out of place on my second entry. With the other letters that my opening word showed to be part of the answer, I really should have gotten it in two. Oh well. It is just a game.

What I said yesterday. Again. Yeah, that. But this time I ran out of guesses before finding out the word was one I'd set aside as not being a reasonable choice. Even Wordle wouldn't pick a hot button word like that. But they did.

Dave, disgusted.

Four. I’m surprised at the word, but it is trendy these days.

A ho-hum four.
I went around the GLOBE looking for a starter word this morning but only found a B away from home. BURST added U and R to the wandering B. I was confident they were looking for their URBAN home, but I was wrong. They were just looking for a CRUMB.
