Anyone playing wordle?

Three. I think that this was the only possible word after my second entry although it took me a little bit of time to think of it. The puzzle at that point was what to do with what became the second letter.

Four. Tricky. I'll take it. :D

A surprising 3 today.
I went with the past tense instead of present.

I'm the one who thought WORDLE likes Ks,
and here's another K!
I had forgotten there is a KN letter combo.

Four. I can think of three possibilities for the second and third letters. Fortunately I got it on my second try. I could easily have had a five.

I’m fine with four.
I got a vaccine yesterday and I feel BLECH this morning. A better result than I expected. For the word BLECH, not the vaccine. The conversation about K words led me to try ANKLE next, which was a good guess, leaving me with AxxLE. APPLE was the first thing I thought of but it was a rotten idea. I had thought ARGYLE but, of course, that is too many letters. However, remaining with the G, I saw AGILE and deftly approached the keyboard with the appropriate letters.

Clarification on my note above. I said that there were three possibilities for the second and third letter. That is taking into account letters that I had already eliminated. Others have added some other possibilities for the second and third letter, but those possibilities were not available to me. All in all, lots of possibilites for those slots. Some of us could fill them one way, others a different way, all depending on what words one started with.

A lucky 2 today with a very good starter word.

I usually use starters with 3 vowels, and this is the only time I remember hitting on all 3.
My options were AGILE, ABIDE and ALIKE.
Normally I'd have gone with ALIKE cause of the K. But since we had KNEEL yesterday, I went with AGILE, since the L is common to both AGILE & ALIKE.

SIX on this lovely Thursday morning!
I don't feel like I was choosing wisely this morning. Held my breath and hit enter on JAZZY.

I’ve never been so happy, well maybe relieved, to get a six! Whew!
I couldn’t think of a starter word TODAY. Oh, I just did. Not too bad, the ending Y and an A needing a home. I wanted to try the remaining vowels next and went with GUISE. Five more letters I can’t use. There are a lot of words with the pattern xAxxY, many of them with double letters. I went with FANCY first to try three new letters instead of just two. Nope. Since June is the month for weddings, I thought maybe MARRY but Wordle has never been known to have a theme and today was no exception. I’m not HAPPY. One shot left. I can only think of two words, JAZZY and BALKY. I really don’t like BALKY, so I go with JAZZY and now I am HAPPY.

Yesterday my starter was arise - and got a two as well.

Four. It was down to the third and fourth letters. I took what I thought was the best (most common) words that fit.
