I'm at the fours table today.
After guess 2, my set of answers was PULPY, PUPPY, LUMPY, JUMPY, and GUPPY. I decided to try to narrow things down, so I used GULPS in guess 3. After that, GUPPY was the last word standing.

Four. I actually had the correct word typed in on line three, but at the last moment changed it to a different word. Oh well. Four is not a bad place to be. I am in with good company.

Four, should have been a three. I had first put in the correct word on the third line and hit enter, but there was a box that kept popping up on the left, which I assumed to mean that it was not a valid word. It happened again when I put in the word on the third line, but then I figured out how to close out the box.

Sorry, @Sandi Bo but I’m taking the rear with my six! Sheesh!
I’m trying to lose a few pounds and had to WEIGH this morning. I should have known that wasn’t a good WEIGH to start. It did get a G which I moved to the starting position with GROUT. The G is correct and added a U out of position. I thought about GU words but also had GAU words on my mind. I ended up going with GAUZY because the Y was intriguing to me, and lets face it, their have been some strange Wordles lately. My hunch about the Y was correct and the U was relegated to seccond position, leaving me with GUxxY. Uh-oh! Lots of options.GUMMY, GUNNY, GUPPY, GUSSY, GULLY… I took a stab at GUMMY. Nope. I have two chances remaining and, at least, four possibilities. I hate elimination words but I needed one here. I came up with PLANS which included every letter on my list. Success. It’s a P so I try GUPPY and end my misery.:wall:

Table for 5 please.

Another 50/50 choice at the end, and I went for the more common GUMMY.
I actually thought of GUPPY answer for 3rd guess , but it was too soon since I had no consonants. Sigh...

Oh Faith, quiff?

Quiff — from Wikipedia

The quiff is a hairstyle that combines the 1950s pompadour hairstyle, the 1950s flattop, and sometimes a mohawk. It was born as a post-war reaction to the short and strict haircuts for men. The hairstyle was a staple in the British 'Teddy Boy' movement, but became popular again in Europe in the early 1980s and experienced a resurgence in popularity during the 1990s.[1]

Excepting intimate or personal situations, in a small group situation I think four is an ideal number of people. Four allows for two two-way conversations to occur simultaneously. It's also small enough to allow for a nice four-way conversation. Four is also the classic rock combo - lead and rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums. In classical music, string quartets provide some of the best music. Barbershop quartets and southern Gospel music are based on four part harmonies. Jazz quartets standout also - keyboard, sax/clarinet, bass, drums, or replace either the keyboard or wind instrument with a vocalist.

Which is long way of saying, I'm back at the fours table today.

BEACH filtered for BELOW, CELLO, GECKO, HELLO.
