Three this morning …
After guess 2, my solution word set was PLANK, CLAMP, and PLAZA. (PLANT would have been in there, but I track previous solutions and Wordle has already used PLANT.)

If I use one of the PLAxx words, I will either guess right, or I will filter down to one word. I started to type in PLANK, then I had a hunch the Wordle gods were being sly and going for a "Z" word. So I went with PLAZA instead of PLANK. I could hear the Wordle gods whining as they left my home and went looking elsewhere for sustenance.

A lazy, but quick, five.
It was a very RAINY night last night and all that got me was an A out of position. AWFUL was either the gods playing with me or an apt description of how I was actually playing today. At any rate, it just gave me an L out of position. I should have took a breath and come up with a plan at this point but, I didn’t. I charged ahead with LEAVE. Finally got the A right and the L is either 2nd or 4th position. I finally give it a little thought and think PLAxx or SLAxx. I try SLACK and the LA is correct. I switch from SLA to PLA and see PLAZA works. Actually, a very good word. I’ll try harder tomorrow.

A lucky 3 today!

The answer was in my working vocabulary and near memory after having travelled to Spain in March, with their numerous placas-plazas. I had a sneaking suspicion the WORDLE Gods would use two 'As', and having r/o 'A' in 4th position, that left 3rd &5th as most likely spots.

I'm at the fours table today.

After getting three hits on guess 1, it took me a few guesses to close in on the answer.

Another member of the quartet.
The ducks are quite noisy this morning so I started with QUACK. A lonely A. Next, I tried to rise ABOVE and found the ending E but the A is still astray. I intended to move the A to the second position with my next attempt, but as I was going through the options, my brained farted out GRAPE and immediately forced my finger to the enter key. Arrrggghhhhh! Well, at least it added two very critical letters to my search, G & R. I believed the pattern to be RAxGE. RANGE was the only word I could find.

Too many choices led to a 6 today.
