Anyone playing wordle?

Three. Short note in the Spoiler.

I really hate putting in a double letter when I am still fishing about trying to find correct letters, but today it paid off.

A quick three, also. @Patri, our boards are eerily similar after your first word.
It is very foggy on the lake this morning so the word MOIST popped into my head. And S in fourth position and an M needing a home. I wanted to try M in last position and CHASM was the first word that came to mind. Good word. It added the A in middle position and an H. Now, the M had to go in second position and since no words start with HM, the H had to be last, leaving me with xMASH. I SMASHed it!

Five. And I feel good to have that. Could easily have struck out with this one. :D

We came back home last night from Europe, so still have odd hours for playing WORDLE. Spring has sprung ...the fruit trees are flowering and the daffys are out, tulips soon.
A 4 today....look outside for inspiration.

Three for me too.
Starter word because I have an 8:30 appointment. I may be struggling but EARLY was very productive.I thought sure that ALLEY was the solution but it was not to be that easy. However, it let me know L went in first position and with Y last, I just had to get the EA figured out. LEAFY was the only word I thought of. I’m glad I didn’t think of LEAKY until writing this post or I would have probably went with it first. Phew!

Six!!!!
Couldn't get letters into position. It seemed to me that guess 4 finally narrowed it down to LEAFY or LEAKY. But what if there was another word I had overlooked?

I'll take my five. :D

Squeaked by with a 6 today.

I'm at the threes table today. Anyone going to sit with me?

After a zilch on guess 1, guess 2 checked remaining vowels, and added common consonants S and P

After guess 2, my solution list was FOCUS, BONUS, LOCUS, TORUS. I decided to try LOCUS. Unlike yesterday, that was a good choice.

But what was I thinking? I should have known better than to play LOCHS. Almost continued that silliness with LOCKS, but realized the errs of my ways and went with LOCUS.
So...googled for meaning of LOCUS and I'm sure I was thinking LOCUST and got very lucky, I don't think I've ever seen this word before nor have I used it, ever.
