Spoiler: Diddly for the Wordle gods today

With SQUAT as today's word, I'm sure the Wordle gods are expecting a field day. But not from me.

After guess 2, I figured that the word likely began with S with an A in spot 4. So I was looking at SxxAT. I came up with SPLAT, SWEAT, and SQUAT. Any Either of those three would verify my assumptions, and if I my assumptions about S and A were correct, there was a one-in-three two chance of solving I thought about SPLAT, but on a hunch I went with SQUAT instead.

Relatively easy three, so diddly-squat for the gods from me today. [edit: brain fart with SWEAT. E was eliminated in guess 1.]

High 80’s in St. Augustine this afternoon. A perfect BEACH day. All that gets me is an A out of position. I tried to add a vowel and a common consonant with RATIO. Just added a T also out of position. Is it possible there is an ADULT in the room? Nope, but now I have the A limited to position 4 between the U and T as in xxUAT. The gods can “cop a squat”. Wow! That popped into my head from somwhere long ago. I think maybe from a movie?

Just a quick question ... does anyone know when the Wordle day ends? I started my daily wordle around 2 pm today, got a little into it and then did other things for an hour. When I came back the Wordle had changed to a new day and my 'streak' was lost.

I am central time and it changes at midnight central for me. My sister has said she has fallen asleep in the middle of solving and been able to finish, but other times she wasn't able and lost her streak.

I was worried where I was going with this. Saw TRIPE (bad memories from old job working in a cold storage). Had to try TRIBE as that's my gym buddies. Extra push-up for them today (in honor of the Wordle gods, of course)!

I’m about to make a DONUT run. Not only do I get to enjoy them, I also found D, N & T all out of position. TREND was the first word I thought of and it seemed too easy. Tried for a few seconds to think of something better but then thought maybe I could get at least one of those letters in the correct position and maybe add the E or R. I was shocked when I saw all the green blocks.
