A fiver for me

After CHOSE, there weren't any remaining options to start the word with two consonants. The only pattern I could think of that would work was xOOSE.

That led me to three possible solutions, and three remaining guesses. So no anxieties to feed the Wordle gods. Mental coin flip led to LOOSE. That flip was wrong, and I was down to choices. But it confrmed the xOOSE pattern. Next I tried MOOSE. Had MOOSE been wrong, my last word was GOOSE.

I'm a FOUR today
I used a very sophisticated method to determine my 1st letter choses - eeny, meany, minie, moe.. Rather than use a burner, I just hate to use burners. Almost hung myself, so happy with a 4.

Five. It was almost too easy. Or, maybe I just make things difficult for myself. :D
Of course, I had to start with MARCH and got the starting M. Next, MOUND got the O, so now I have the MO. MOIST seemed like a good try for a second vowel plus an S or T. Found the S in 4th position. As I said yesterday, I’m visiting Disney World this week, so the urge to try MOUSE is almost overwhelming. But, I just know that’s too easy. At this point, I felt like it was down to double O or double S. MOOSE also seemed too easy. I went with MOSSY. The gods are cackling!

Four. I was down to about five possible words on my third try. That entry limited it to just two words. Would I get the final letter correct (for a four) or not ( or a five). For once, I guessed right.

A not so easy 4 today. Consonants were hard to come by.

After my 3rd guess, I had eliminated all the 2 consonant word beginnings. So I assumed 2nd letter had to be an 'O'. I like moose better than geese( goose) and moose are less common than geese. So luckily my prefs were right this time .

I had a very quick four, also.
We will be making the 2 hour DRIVE home later this evening. I was hesitant about using the V but, voila! Got the ending VE. I tried SUAVE next and found an out of position A. I moved it with HALVE but got nothing. So, I’m left with AxxVE. ABOVE was the first word I thought if and I went with it.

I see that most of the cool kids are getting fours today. So I guess that's the "In" crowd. I wasn't part of the In Crowd in high school and junior high, but now I can finally join!!!

A lucky 3 today!
Took me awhile to come up with 5 options for my 3rd guess. I thought it would take me at least 4 today.

I didn't think of AWOKE as some of you did, but came up with ABOVE, ADOBE, ABODE , APPLE and AMPLE. Since the first 3 had the B &O in common, I chose to r/o those first.
I chose ABOVE cause it was the commoner usage of the 3, and thought WORDLE was trying to trick us on going for the more obscure.
