Please send me all your e-mails so I can work with the police to get my refund. I wrote a personal check, so I do not know if the refund will be more difficult to get. Thanks!
Just giving an update... I went through the better business bureau to no avail. Then I tried contacting the Sevierville police department, but didn't get a response back. I just emailed the police chief and left a phone message. Hoping (but not too optimistic at this point) for some kind of refund.
Separate note - I think that whomever wrote about bkassets got some letters mixed up. KB Travel was the bad eBay seller that has since stopped selling on eBay. They change up their name and start selling again. If anyone sees an eBay ad from Sevierville, TN, they should run - and perhaps contact eBay as well about the ad possibly being fraudulent.
Did they give you a refund? Did you pay for the timeshare already? I have bought from this seller and used this closing company and they seem to be legitimate. Perhaps as legitimate as an Ebay seller can be...Please beware

Here they are again, now under travel4you5

Could you please click that link above, then click Report Item / Listing Practices / Suspect Fraudulent Listing
I just did, but eBay will do nothing if it's just one report. I hope a lot of tuggers report them to eBay, then they could be shut down quickly.
I'm looking at something from travelforyou5 right now. Seems that I should walk away from this one? Even if I use a CC, it seems that there is still risk involved in this one. Has anyone heard anything about them within the past year (since this post)?
By the way, their title company (National Resort Title) is in Sevierville, TN
I did try calling and the number is answered by a machine with this name but indicating "leave a message and we'll call back."
Cheers.
I had a close call with KB Travel / VP Title /TS Title in 2018. I won an Ebay auction and "Josh" answered my email asking if these were Gilllispie companies. He told me VP Title was owned by Jackie Holt. I found out on my own that Jacque Holt is Stacy Gillispie's mother, and I didn't send them any money."Josh" from "KB Travel" (who refuses to provide his last name) had the nerve to send me an "agreement" for that too, and ask for payment. I replied that I will pay for WKORV when I get a proof that Ko Olina is being transferred to me .Or, I can pay now, but only to an independent closing company.
For that, I was immediately banned from bidding on tra3213 auctions on eBay.
Also, here is what Josh said when I asked about two negative eBay feedbacks that disappeared the next day:
"The two negatives we had were because the people wanted to do the transfers themselves and we don’t do that so we filed nonpaying bidders and they left negatives because of it. eBay of course removed them cause they can see the emails they sent in."
To be continued...
If you lost money from or are a victim of Stacy Gillespie (IA Vacations, Timeshare Connections, VP Title), he has been arrested and restitution is available through the court. We are also planning a civil class action lawsuit. All my services are free, I just need a victim statement. I recently made a post about this with my contact information and more details about the lawsuit.Redweek for less has started using some additional names on eBay that won't fit in the title:
destinationsrus-2006
vacationspots-2014

------------------
Redweek4less is a frequent Timeshare seller on EBay and I want to share my bad experience. I expect many other people will post there bad experiences and want to suggest that publishing the facts of bad behavior is more informative than insults like despicable slime!
I won EBay auctions for a Hyatt Coconut Plantation diamond week and a Marriott Oceana Palms Platinum from Redweek4less this year. The prices were incredible and the properties at the top of my list. I bid without reviewing comments on TUG and find this barely less idiotic than buying retail from the developer. I did not "Buy" any weeks from them because they failed to deliver. Marriott and Hyatt told me several times over sixty days that VP Title did not submit ROFR requests.
I bid with Redweek4Less and got a congratulations e-mail from Stacey Gillespie at IA Vacations. I also heard from Robbie ( a boy not a girl) The best I can say is that they asked me to pay with a credit card via PayPal and I was never at risk of losing my money because of credit card protection.
Hope said she was doing the closing at
VP TITLE, LLC
888-823-9742
Fax:865-622-8357
P.O. Box 6297
Sevierville, TN 37862
The indisputable fact is that afterr 60 days VP Title said they were not able to deliver either of my weeks. I spoke with Marriott Resale and Hyatt Title Transfer and was told that VP Title did not submit valid ROFR and that sometimes an unauthorized ROFR is disputed by a seller. Hope did not take my phone calls, nor return them. The excuse for not delivering the Hyatt is that the seller changed their minds, no excuse given for failing to deliver Oceana Palms. How does a company repeatedly list items for sale on EBay without having the ability to deliver what they sell?
I paid immediately by credit card for one purchase and was in the second day of three days allowed to pay for the second when Redweek4less blocked my bids on a Marriott Canyon Villas which sold for $5500. Robbie said they did not block my bid, of course they want the highest price. I do not think this was true. They blocked my bid!
They were quick to offer me a refund when I complained about 45 days without ROFR. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE REFUND AND KEEP THE POINTS ON YOUR CREDIT CARD. How do they make money doing that?
Redweek4less actively manipulates their feedback ranking by doing purchases of $3 - $5 items with positive feedback. Twenty planted purchases cover up two bad timeshare feedbacks. I complained to EBay, they claim no buyer protection for Timeshares and therefore no responsibility to police practices.
I spoke with Jane P. Salem, Consumer Protection Specialist with the State of Tennessee, and she told me the complaints are public record. I have not looked yetr, but was told that fourteen complaints have been filed and some victims do claim to have lost money. I got my money back and a lot of aggravation.
You can contact the Tennessee Consumer Affairs Division at 1-800-342-8385. If you had a similar failure to perfom issue with these companies, I hope you will post here and call in your complaint.

It's also a very deceptive ad as it indicates one is bidding on a "Penthouse" located Villa.......
One would never end up in a Penthouse Villa week unless it's pure luck, or booked using Marriott's Destination Points.
.
Apologies if this has been covered earlier in this thread, but I thought I'd let folks know that Gillispie was sentenced to four years in prison, to be reduced to four years probation if he pays everyone back. I actually got my money back after 3 years. I also understand that if he violates his probation it will be revoked and he goes to prison. I expect based on what I've been reading that he will end up there.
How do you know? Here they are again. This is a fraudulent seller:

I guess the question is though, what is it from the listing that tips you off that travel4you5 is the same company? Here they are again. This is a fraudulent seller:

I buy from buyandselltimeshares, which is John Kushman and @andrewjjtimeshare on TUG. Also I buy from Clem Swan aka Legacytimeshares on ebay and Vacation Warehouse for the company name.. He is usually pretty good. I I also like Tochoa25.Because I had bought Ko Olina from them on eBay and they scammed me. They don't have the timeshare. It's all fraudulent.
