College Football season is about to kick off. Here are our record projections for every team

For a welcome change, my Boilermakers managed to not lose this week. (They had a bye.) This is one of the most dismal Purdue football teams I can recall, going back to my first arrival on campus in the Fall of 1965.

Will Georgia dropped out of the top ten ranking and will Indiana moved up into the top five ranking ?

I’m looking forward this year to the Army/Navy football game.

Alabama finally looked like a championship caliber team again. Hopefully, they won’t regress again.

Alabama must win the SEC Championship game to be in the NCAA final bowl category.

Back then, they could at least get a win from poor Northwestern, today, not so. The old oaken bucket will be in jeopardy.

Question: Was the Block P student section there when you were a frosh? Standing in the end zone of the stadium holding cards to make images.

Not necessarily. There are scenarios, several of them, where Alabama could win out, ending the season with a 10-2 record but not go to the SEC Championship game. They would have the best resume of the 2 loss teams with 4 wins over current Top 25 teams (Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri, LSU, and one of the losses to a Top 10 Tennessee and another to over .500 Vandy. I agree that if they go to the SECCG and lose, they’re most likely out. But, I think if they end up with the 2 losses, they get in.

In a quick aside, my Tide play your Boilermakers in a big Top 25 basketball matchup Friday night!
 
The big losers from yesterday games were Indiana, Colorado, Ole Miss, BYU, Virginia and Alabama IMHO.
 
I guess my season will end early this year. Oklahoma was ready to play for the first time this year and Alabama, definitely, was not! That was the worst game they have played since the Mike DuBose era of the late 90’s.

Now I understand why the last Bama Coach retired last season. This year team looked awful on paper and in practice. IMHO
