College Football season is about to kick off. Here are our record projections for every team

Alabama has had great teams. But the unwarranted statement “Aggies fans are always complaining” proves that certain Alabama fans are “complainers”. Jumping in to disparage a team because of an anecdotal, and unsubstantiated statement about “rumblings of jealousy” proves the complaining nature of some.
T A&M complained about Texas and actually left the Big 12 to get away from their in-state rival. If I remember correctly, they have won exactly one national championship in their existence. And, oh by the way, that was with a coach trained at Alabama under the now second greatest coach of all time, Bear Bryant. Since being in the SEC, they have complained about every coach they’ve had and paid the last one $77,000,000.00 (man that’s a lot of zeros) to go away. They complained that the SEC invited their rival Texas, and Oklahoma into the league. I’m not making any of this up. You may or may not have heard some of your family members discussing one or more of these things.

And, actually, this is a very mild group since we’re actually timeshare owners who also happen to like football. Our complaints are usually about our own teams and timeshare presentations, not the other posters. You’re the one who started the name calling in your post #46 above and you seemed to question the truthfulness of the post you were commenting about because you had not heard the complaints yourself. You’re free to comment, good or bad, about any team you wish to comment on. But, read the room. This is a pretty civil message board and we don’t resort to calling people jerks when discussing yesterday’s games.

WOW! Where to start?? A post stating that Aggies are whining. I simply asked what Aggies. Where. It was anecdotal. You “civilly” chime in that Aggies are complainers. Then I responded so are Alabama Fans. You seem to get offended by a comment that you made about others.
I am a Timeshare owner who enjoys football. I started the “name calling” by asking where a comment was overheard? Or was it that I responded to your “name calling” by calling the kettle black. I am very mild ans well. Apparently responding to an accusation with the same accusation is name calling you.

Who hurt you?

Edited to add: I just cleared out my ignore list a couple days ago. Guess I’ll start filling it up again.

Hahaha, let’s put off this conversation for a week or two when you are less sensitive about what happened yesterday. Oh, and just an FYI: I’m a 1972 graduate of the University of Texas….

Coaches Poll top 25: Tennessee
tumbles as Penn State enters
top five in college football ran...

I think Texas is clearly #1 so far with Oregon #2. Then it’s just a crapshoot!

The Navy and Army football teams are in the Top 25 in the AP Poll.

Can you believe James Madison beat Virginia and North Carolina in football .... o_O
JMU is no newcomer to football and no pushover. JMU won the NCAA Div II-A (now FCS) championship in 2004 and 2016 and were national runners-up in 2017 and 2019. Moved to D-1 in 2022.

My son graduated from JMU. It's a beautiful campus in the Shenandoah Valley, close to Massanutten.

Eight teams in the AP Top 25 ain't bad for the SEC.
But IMHO, Tennessee is still ranked too high.
Both Tennessee and Florida were a comedy of errors.

I was surprised at how bad Tennessee looked. I expect that to change this week. I can only hope Alabama can stop their malaise of the last couple games.
