You're Being Lied to About Electric Cars

Tesla just released their less expensive M3 and MY "standard" variants here in the US.

$39,990 for the MY Standard, info here: https://www.tesla.com/modely

That's about $5k cheaper than the next least expensive MY.

$36,990 for the M3 Standard, info here: https://www.tesla.com/model3

That's about $4.5k cheaper than the next least expensive M3.

So as expected, it's not even fully making up for the $7500 tax credit loss really - but at least it's something.

It's interesting what passes as a good looking vehicle now days. The Tesla's remind me of the Yugo in that they have that utilitarian look. No style at all.

Imo..you are 100% correct..I believe that the majority of owners think it’s a “status symbol” to have one.

Several club members have moved on from Model S (One a plaid version) to Porsche 911 Coupes
Various models
None were less than $200K
That seems to be the new status symbol in the area

NO, what he used was an "AI Overview", something apparently WRITTEN by AI. When AI makes up cases when used to write legal briefs or orders, it is simply not reliable. Those stumbles by AI have happened fairly recently. I have a lot more respect for a PERSON's opinion than a machine's opinion.
Your knowledge of the real world of computing and AI is very limited
You see something labeled AI overview and think it is a compilation of fake data
If you want to argue facts
Argue facts
Don't claim because something says AI it is false

I though the V-8 was discontinued in the Toyota Tundra since 4-5 years and replaced by a twin-turbo V-6 ?

Yup. Industry wide, most of the v-8's have been replaced by a turbo v-6 and a v-6 has been replaced by a turbo 4 banger. The Jeep I rented in Moab was a really nice Rubicon 4 door. The only thing I didn't like was the turbo would engage as I was climbing over obstacles. The one thing I did like was the turbo engaging in the sand. That was a blast.

An interesting read but it shows how limited EVs are. They can’t run laps because they are toast after only a few. I have a friend who has the Porsche and another who has the Mercedes AMG. I haven’t driven either…YET.

I don't think any of the cheap $5k Chinese electric cars will compete in the Indianapolis 500

TOP 5 Chinese EVs that BROKE the internet

China’s electric vehicle market is moving faster than ever – and these 5 cars have taken the world by storm. From mind-blowing tech to jaw-dropping designs and even more insane price tags, these EVs aren’t just cars, they’re game-changers.
