Wyndham website not working (again...!!)

Update: Last night I found ghosts for a 2br deluxe as well as a lockoff unit. Early this morning, the 2br deluxe was gone, but the lockoff was still there. I just looked again and both are gone.
Yeah, I wouldn't have even suspected there had been an update last week if @hitchhiker didn't say so. I don't think anything is working any better now than it was a week ago. Same old :poop:

Tried to add a GC for a reservation I made for a friend yesterday but the system would not let me. I had 1 GC left this year but when I went to add the GC to reservation the system was asking for a $99 GC fee. Called in and they were able to add the GC no problem.
 
Ghosting for me too. Is it really too much to ask that Wyndham website be reliable and accurate? And why should we need to try things like not using the calendar view to book? Am I the only person who thinks this borders on fraud? They take our money every month and deliver an unstable and sometimes unusable product. How long would the feds allow chase bank to operate if it’s accuracy about my account values was as inaccurate as Wyndham? Or if my access to my funds was as wonky as my access to the inventory? And yet inventory and account access is a direct relation to finances here. So when does this become a concern of the overseeing governmental agencies? If not fraud, it certainly is incompetence and knowing neglect. Where is the oligarch Michael Brown? Where is his outrage over our inability to use OUR ownership assets? And why is there no communication from the top on this continuing stumble?
Same old Wyndham upgrade fail!
 
*Now* they tell us! Today is the first time I've seen the helpful
message below about the maintenance window that happened
*last* *week*. I log in nearly every day, so I would have noticed it.
(Maybe this is their way of saying a new maintenance window
is coming up soon but the dates haven't been updated?)

A ghost blocking an upgrade :-(

I can book the 1 bedroom or the 2 bedroom presidential. I cannot book the 2 bedroom deluxe (blue spinning wheel of death). If I book the 1 bedroom and try to upgrade to the 2 bedroom, I get the message the unit isn't available :-(

yep - same thing happening at Smokies. 25 options and over 1/2 of them are ghosts. After many trials with lots of errors, I was able to find a 2br that would successfully upgrade to a 3br. The ghost blocking the upgrade is terrible.
 
Comically, it didn't work like it should and later in the day a better upgrade and days that I need appeared. So, thanks for that, Wyndham.

Some owners have wondered if there's a reason that hasn't been fixed. Forcing owners to use more points benefits Wyndham.
 
I get a spinning blue wheel whenever I try to book.They have been working on it for a week. No timetable when it will be fixed. No updates from Wyndham.
 
They say it’s because my transactions in my resale account say unlimited when it should be15 or something like that. But having so many IT department problems it could take a while they said. Need old system back if there having so much trouble.

So... transactions are supposed to be unlimited. They were through 2022. And at the annual meeting it was announced they would continue to be free... indefinitely.

The transactions are free, but after using all that were allocated, you have to click on 'buy one' which is then zero cost.

I can't login or stay login. I get "Something unexpected happened". Anyone else having this issue? I tried both Chrome and Edge.
 
I can’t login reliably. Then get gateway 504 error if I can login.

But good news. The ceo got his yearly bonus. He’s on a yacht in the Black Sea right now. What a great gig for the oligarch Michael Brown.

Thanks! I managed to get on and called my friend who just got their account setup today and walked them through to transfer points to our account as we had made a reservation on their behalf while they were waiting for their contract to get transferred.

BTW, our friend's transfer was messed up. They completed their DocuSign 8 weeks ago and didn't hear back from Wyndham. They finally called transfer/title department on Christmas Eve and were told that the transfer had been completed a couple of weeks ago... wait for it... the "new" owners' names were the sellers' names. Transfer department even said that they had already snail-mailed all the information to the "new" owners. DUH! Wyndham promised to fix it and today, our friends were given their owner number when they called Wyndham again.

They also messed up ours... our brokers sent in our information and when DocuSign came in, I was the sole buyer as opposed to co-owner with my husband. My broker worked with them to redo it right away.

I'm trying to do a waitlist at old town alexandria and it's giving me a "Couldn't reach server. Try submitting again in a few minutes." error. I've tried it 3 times...

This is my first time attempting the waitlist, trying to select 1 1BR DLX, but chose 1BR DLX, + the 2 handicapped options for the deluxe room, i'm assuming it will just give me whatever comes available first. I need the deluxe because it has a full kitchen and the normal 1BR does snot at this location. I know because i've stayed here many times.

Broke implies it actually worked at some point has anyone actually gotten it to work?

Again with all the problems with my Wyndham account setup- and being semi- new, I can’t tell if it’s me or them…

I did have a room on waitlist. I cancelled it because dates changed and haven’t been able to redo it since.
 
I will leave this here instead of starting another thread. I am pretty sure @HitchHiker71 pays attention to all these. :) I have tried three or four times on different resort inventory pages to search by unit size. None of them work. They all show everything available and give our favorite error when I select dates. I have even tried in different browsers. Anyone else having this issue? Searching for "All Units" seems to work, but including accessible units tends to break things again. I quit messing with it verses trying to figure out exactly what would and wouldn't work.
