Wyndham View From the Balcony

Poop maps still needed when exploring outside the resort?

Not from what we saw. We walked over to the aquarium and back and from/to the parking garage. That was all the walking we did.

Our main reason for being in HOTlanta was to spend time with our two granddaughters (ages 8 and 3) while their Mom was at a convention. Their Mom was a D1 NCAA swimmer and the two girls are pool rats so we hung out at the pool some.

Happy to report that nothing of the sort is necessary.
Well that's good. We haven't heard much about SF for a long time. Or maybe I don't notice so much since my son no longer lives there.

My grandkids and pools are awesome. I was worried after going to the water park at the Great Smokies they would be disappointed with pools at Nashville. Nope! Pools are pools. The 6 and 4 year olds were looking at pictures of Newport the other day, it was hilarious - them enjoying looking at the resort pictures - oh a big toilet! But of course the pools seal the deal! Glad you had such a nice visit in Atlanta - we need to get there!

Have you been to Wisconsin Dells? A place to pig out on waterparks.

Only once, and it was after Labor Day so only indoors was open. We need to get back there! So much beautiful country to see!

Didn't come for the view!

Book some time at Little Sweden in Door County. Gorgeous area, absolutely loved it, so relaxing. We had a blast walking around the various towns. So much fun for old folks like Rick. :)

Even on the first floor the view is pretty darn good. And the 4-bedroom prez unit is absolutely HUGE.

Newport, these were some of our views from Inn at the Harbor... I'll show you 2 views...One was ours (beautiful) and the one with seagull droppings on the roof, my sons. No complaints, just saying, you never know! (Now I'm thinking I may have gone up on to the rooftop deck to take that 2nd picture, but it is the same view as he had out his window, pretty much). The seagull droppings picture includes a view of Newport Onshore where my daughter stayed - it's that close! The circled van is theirs (and you can tandem park up to 3 cars there), the arrow points to where her room was. A very easy walk from Inn on the Harbor to building 4 of Newport Onshore.

3rd picture -- I had one thrilled 4 year old grandson, looking daily for sharks... these are off the wharf in front of Inn on the Harbor. I think they live under the wharf, not sure what they do at low tide. Must go out to sea with the tide? I wish I could post the video, a still picture does it no justice. But might help you know what to look for?

Balcony is a wraparound, quite large.

Wow. Maybe we need to start a thread for terrible views from the balcony. That photo just might win a competition.

I nominate my post #173

Oops, the chair! Don't sit there! We love Bentley Brook. Great staff and always something to do, any time of year. Enjoy!!!

I think it is a birds nest, resulting in the crap on the patio chair.
Yes, the chair is strategically placed directly under the bird's nest.

Out of curiosity, what did you do when you encountered that? Did you call the front desk and ask them to have maintenance do something? Did they?

No, nothing but I should have. I just didn't sit there!

We're going back there Saturday. I'll mention it then,
