Wyndham site down?

I actually want to login to RCI today. I remember someone posting a direct link to Wyndham/RCI showing the ability to login directly to RCI bypassing the Wyndham login. I searched the forum, but am not seeing it. Any chance someone has that handy they could share?

This is (was?) the link but it's only bringing up a blank page right now. I don't know if the blank page is related to the recent Club Wyndham website issues (which I can now log into), or is a different issue: https://clubs.rci.com/home?isCampaignBypass=true&cbBrand=wvr

It's the way I usually get into RCI, but I hadn't gone there in the last 2-3 weeks so I don't know how recently it was working other than a few weeks ago.

The website is down more than up for us, but Wyndham takes our account down for about two months as they transfer 1 and now 9 contracts out of our account. It's a punishment meant for mega renters, I believe. They did cash the transfer fee checks (9) of $399 each about 5 weeks ago, so who knows how long they'll conveniently keep our account down.

Another RCI exchange lost to me on the Big Island because of this problem. RCI matches it, but when I call to tell them I want to confirm, I am told that I don't have an account with Wyndham. Owner Services says the same thing.

Outage or not, I have been kept out of Wyndham for a while. I hope I can book my August trip soon.

So this morning I went to book a 4 bedroom presidential at Bonnet Creek over Easter 2025 (it’s low season next year, crazy), and I got a message that I was using one of my owner allowances. Now that doesn’t make sense, because I was booking it in my name (well, with the wrong middle initial because Wyndham can’t fix that apparently). I was able to book it, not clear if it actually burned one of my allowances or not.

You always get that message. You likely did not use an allowance. You can check your guest allowances under your Benefits Summary. The very last entry. It always says Developer although I believe it's one bucket and applies to your account regardless of the type of points used. The 1st number 2 is the number remaining.

I think overall the programming around this has improved. If you add another reservation it's linking them -- even if it's another owner -- if I change the owner name it might tell me there is a relationship to another reservation (might - I haven't played enough, seems like I saw a message like that). And as always, keep an eye on it. But I do think it's gotten a little better. A though thing to program, IMO. (And the verbiage on the initial booking could certainly be more clear (as in be accurate), I bet they get alot of calls on this).

There is no way that is correct, I saw every suite type available and they definitely didn’t sell out of the normal 2 bedroom deluxe units 13 months in advance…

That's not the only oddity this morning. Trying to book Orlando International with resale points (April 12-26, 2025) and the availability I get is Presidential Reserve units at Kingstown Reef and Bonnet Creek. It won't let me book any of those (Something unexpected . . . . ) but they shouldn't show at all.

I can book Orlando International April 12-19 and April 19-26 but not April 12-26. I know the resort will combine the two reservations but booking two weeks saves a housekeeping credit.

Well, right now we are in Kick Back, Hold Tight mode. (Down for maintenance)

But earlier today I was seeing the same thing. However, selecting toplevel Resorts
and then Search Resorts under it *was* working to find individual resorts. Go figure.

That's not the only oddity this morning. Also... once you've checked to view availability, and have the calendars side by side, the left calendar has a drop down (so you don't have to scroll through every month). Sometimes the heading for the month will be incorrect - you can tell by the number of days in the month - but it is usable).

And it does look like I could book that 4 BR Presidential if I wanted to... I got to this step after selecting to book it.

Poor wording, they haven't ever taken it from me unless I put a guest name on it, on the same page.

Agree, same here. Sorry, I was trying to show I was able to book those dates -- after selecting to book it, I progressed to this page (no issues, just bad wording).
