Wyndham Club Access to Trave and Leisure switch

I am at Bonnet Creek now, and they are telling me that I am on the "Do Not Sell" list, and showed me on their screen where my account says "DO NOT SELL!!!"
So they want me to attend a 15 minute "update" with a promise of "No sales at all" and just to show us the new T&L website. They said that the CW website and CW App are both going away next year and will all go to T&L. He also said that we will be able to use our CW points (specifically not CW Rewards) to book vacations on other T&L sites and programs on the new website.... I asked some pretty specific questions like, "So you are telling me that the existing Club Wyndham website is going away, and we will have a new website to book CW travel, through a T&L website only?" They said, Yes, and that's all we need to show you, with a promise of no sales pitches at all.

I smiled and said, Okay. Tell you what. I know you make your paycheck by signing people up. If you put it in writing that our presentation is limited to 15 minutes, from 7:45am - 8:00am, and no sales, sign it and write it on our appointment slip we get, I'll go to your "update." He offered us some appetizer cards and a $100 resort credit (which didn't hardly cover lunch for 3 of us at the onsite Mexican place). I didn't bother trying to get more because I know that they have to pay that out of their own pocket.

So I am going... We are Founders. haven't bought a thing in 11 years, and don't use all we have.... so definitely never buying more. I tell them, "The sales managers get mad at us if we attend a presentation. I've had more than 1 tell me not to ever go to anymore. The sales manager in Park City took us because we are Founders, and after looking at our account prior to the meeting he knew we weren't buying and he told us that when we sat down. He told us that he took us and did the presentation himself because he wasn't on commission, and it would be a waste of his sales people's time to meet with us, and they need people who at least have the possibility of buying.

We never asked to be on the No Sales list, and I am not even sure if we are... but the login screen on this guys computer definitely had it on there.

I assume that we will find out that this idea of the website and mobile app going away are bogus. But I will give them 15 minutes in the morning before the parks open if it helps the guy meet his quota and get tot he next tier for his salary. They are young and hungry and just trying to make a living.... I doubt that most of them have any idea that they are not telling us the truth. I think that they are lied to in their training, and they honestly believe some of what they are saying.

Usually I am a hard, "No" not going... but we will see if this "15 minute, promise no sales" so-called "update" is actually what he said..

I've been told many times by the parking pass people that the CW website is going away and I "must" go to an owner update to get signed up for the new T&L website, or else I won't be able to access the new website to book any travel. Oddly enough, (sarcasm), when I get to the owner update meeting, no mention of any website change is ever made, despite inquiries. I will be shocked if yours is anything but a sales pitch. Let us know. Bonnet Creek sales weasels are notorious for keeping you there as long as possible and getting almost hostile if you insist that your time has expired and it's time to leave.

I think the marketing folks have free form entry fields on their screen where they type something in to show it to you on their screen. If you were do not sell, why would they have you go? It is 100% a sales pitch. Nothing less. Something tells me you will be there longer than 15 minutes. Ask the sales folks if you are marked as Do Not Sell.

If you were really on the DNG/DNS list, they wouldn’t even be able to speak to you about attending any sales updates. They are just desperate and probably no where close to meeting their quota at that time.
