What's the Value of RCI Deposit

I have 56,000 points left for the year and I don't think I'll be able to use them. What's my best course of action? I've never deposited points or done anything with RCI.

Couple questions:

What is the value of depositing points into RCI?
Is there a better way to use my remaining points for the year?

I'm sure this has been answered several times on here, but I couldn't find anything specific enough (but I did try to find the answer).

Unless you have VIP somehow, you're past the banking period, so RCI is the next best thing to do. I'd really recommend getting familiar with RCI in any event for the cash options to get more trips in a year - potentially at a great discount. I just did some searching and TBH I think 56,000 pts isn't enough to get much of anything though. When I just looked, even for a discounted 1BR at say Smugglers Notch (usually a cheaper resort in RCI) in the next month is 63,000pts. So you'd have to be willing to deposit more into RCI to use them, or actually you can pull from the next year right away from what I can tell. Then there's the resort fees and $300 exchange fee, so while I'm certainly a fan of "get something for your money" - you're going to be spending a lot more to maybe get something with this. Of course, if you're likely to be 56,000pts extra next year too, then you're getting close to the cheap 126,000 needed for cheaper 1BR - I also checked Massanutten as another cheaper place to book.

I haven't deposited points in RCI since I think it was 2009. A few things have changed since then, lol. Now when you want to book something and you need more points than you previously deposited, you can add however many more points you need from your current use year points.

We don't know your maintenance fees. So using CWA maintenance fees of $8.13 per thousand points and another $0.75 for a developer program fee if you own at least 258k points, that makes your 56k points have a value of $497.28. Keep in mind that you'll pay an exchange fee when you book something in RCI. $289 or maybe it's $299?
