What is anyone doing with the space that was the soaking tub?

Never. Always the big shower in the master and combo tub/shower in each of the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Anybody remember which TUGger it was who dubbed SW's big showers, "the car wash"?? HAHA

True...but other resort systems have mostly chosen to replace their jetted tubs at their resorts with soaking tubs. While some have swapped in large walk in showers, in my experience MVC is the only one that just rips out the tub and replaces it with nothing.

I think the decision to remove or swap is an individual HOA/BOD decision. I know several resorts where they've swapped the tub for a large walk-in shower (Grande Vista and Cypress Harbour). What resorts other than NCV has just removed them and replaced it with nothing?

I could see why they might not have replaced it there. It seems like one of the less popular resorts. Also, what was the previous walk in shower situation like? If they already had a decent walk in shower, then it might make sense to not replace it. Though I would question why they removed it at all.
