Another way to extend your points is with the use of Interval International. With Interval International you can deposit your points into Interval and they will have an additional two years to be used within the Interval network. Marriott Vacation Club and Worldmark Have access to Interval connections.

In this Video, I show how you can actually save money by using Interval International to book a week at a Sheraton in Orlando through Interval International as compared to booking it with the Vistana or Marriott websites. I also show how to book a Getaway reservation. Below is the review of the location that I demoed booking with Marriott points via Interval in the video.

The first statement doesn't apply to Worldmark. You do not/can not 'deposit points into Interval".
Thanks for the clarification... Oops on my part... I didn't see where you couldn't... But now I see by trying to deposit it is not an option.... Lesson learned!!!

I was of the understanding that, if you deposit MVC points into interval, you could not use those points to exchange back into one of the MVC family of resorts. I could be wrong since we’ve rarely used II over the last several years.

That is correct. You can exchange MVC/VSN weeks in II for other MVC/VSN weeks, and you can exchange VSN points in II for MVC/VSN weeks. But you cannot exchange MVC (Abound) points in II for MVC/VSN weeks. If I ever do use Abound points in II, it probably would be for Hyatt or Embarc (now re-titled as HGVC) resorts. But even that is highly unlikely, as in addition to being able to book MVC/VSN, I find it more cost-effective to trade in II with my VSN points instead of converting them to Abound and then trading in II.
