Megan our Cairn Terrier was like a cat -- You want me to do what?! And you want me to do it now?? Our beagle Zeke would look at me and shake his head sadly over such uncooperative disobedience.

Exactly...only dog we have ever had that didn't crave affection...very aloof... she decides when she wants to be petted. She likes sleeping on the futon in my office. When I sit down to work, she gets up and leaves like I offended her. The only time she craves affection is when something scares her...then she comes and pushes her head between your legs and won't leave.

Also is the only dog we have had that is not food motivated...will not eat raw meat, it has to be cooked first. My dad used to call her Queenie because of her behavior...she is above us all.

Kyra is 5.5 lbs. She’s a rescue from the Humane Society and about 15 yrs old. It’s a little hard to tell from the photo but she is blind in her right eye. it has a film over it that almost totally covers her pupil. She’s sweet as can be.

Ours was a rescue from the Humane Society as well. Friendly and gentle. Best cat we've ever had.

We have another sweet tabby who has perfected the art of social distancing...she hides around strangers and doesn't like to be held. LoL

And this our big boy Stan, one of our cats blissed out in the sun with a catnip toy. That is a scratching pad behind him with catnip scattered in it, I guess he really was quite “blissed out”.
