I had trouble finding my cell phone today.
I looked in the car. I looked in the kitchen.
I looked on my desk and on my dresser.

I called it from my landline and heard it ring.
It seemed close to where I was standing.
But I couldn't see it, so I called 3 more times.
Each time, it seemed close but not in sight.

I started lifting up cushions and checking
pockets of the clothes I had been wearing.

I knelt down to look under the bed and called
it again. That's when I felt a vibration in the
back pocket of my pants.
