St. George's-on-the-Hill Anglican Church in Toronto has a wonderful pipe organ. Forty years ago today, my late wife and I were married there accompanied by this beautiful instrument. Pre-ceremony there were selections from Handel's Water Music and our recessional was Clarke's Trumpet Voluntary.

It seems like it was just yesterday in some ways, and yet so long ago in other ways!
Happy anniversary, Karen! 😘 🤗 ❤️ 🥌

Sting.......Englishman in New York

These clips of the themes from old TV shows, such as Mannix and Peter Gunn bring back long-forgotten times. I haven't thought of either in years! As Bob Hope was wont to say, "Thanks for the memories!" :) 👍

The Moody Blues are one of my favourite groups. They have had a long connection with Toronto. This recording was done at the Sony Centre in Toronto in 2017 as part of the 50th anniversary of the release of the album Days of Future Passed. It recreated the original recording done in London with a full orchestra, Jeremy Irons doing the narration, and special light, visual, and sound effects. They did the album from cover to cover and this particular performance was professionally filmed for a PBS special as part of their anniversary tour. It was a spectacular evening. I am so glad to have been there that night.
