Strand exercises ROFR on almost all SC properties
Correct, I paid $1.5/pt to get my Ocean Oak OF platinum season resale purchase through ROFR. I was actually a little surprised that it passed. I wanted that particular deed for HW booking or I certainly wouldn't have paid that much.

Agree with HuskerATL. You're hired. ;) I'm looking to pick up 3 in the next couple of years. (W57, Park City, Utah (Week 51), and something with a low MF to round things out.

Thanks for the compliment @raddoc because I am very proud of that particular purchase. But please don’t hold me in too high esteem because I have make many very poor purchases also. I think your purchase is way ahead of my average.

If someone feels good especially about a resale purchase, I would be happy for them.

Just failed 7680 points from Las Palmares HGVC on 10/4/23. Can't blame them the purchase price was $4.25. Took six weeks for them to decide.

$5000 is an amazing price for that deed!! That's 25¢ a point, never heard of anyone getting that kind of deed anywhere near that price per point.

Failed ROFR on another Ocean Enclave, 1 BR 13440 Platinum, at $15k and seller paid closing and free 2023 points (since purchase may not be recognized in time)

Technically offer a bit higher than my $14k seller paid closing and no 2023 points that passed.

Beginning to think it was some kind of fluke the first time.

Sorry to hear that. It is possible, but could also be that Strand is using some type of system such as how many units they currently have in stock besides the price. That least that is my theory (which is pure speculation).
