RCI Inventory Updates?

How often does RCI update inventory availability? Is there a best time (certain hour of the day) to search to try to get something? We've made a last minute decision to try to go somewhere this July with some expiring points, and we are specifically interested in North Carolina mountain area. I've been checking hourly, but didn't know if there is a time that's better than others. I tried to do an OGS but the earliest it would let me start is August, and we aren't able to go in August. (I have weeks if that helps)

I tried searching old posts, but couldn't find anything.

I've noticed it updates all through the day. I am not one that stays up late/gets up early to check...so can't comment on that. But updates through the day seem to be pretty much random...maybe as deposits happen.

Try phoning (or on line chat?) and see if a rep can find you something, tell them you've looked and wonder if they see anything. I have been in your situation and after searching dozens of times over a few day period called and a rep immediately found a few choices for us that weren't showing up on my online searches. The rep could not explain why I couldn't see them as well. She even charged us the reduced fee as if I had booked online myself.

Update: I ended up phoning them and you are right, there were options listed that were not showing on the website! They also were able to set me up with an OGS for the rest of the July since the website wouldn't let me, and I found something! I also put in a request to get the complimentary upgrade to try to get the resort I REALLY want, but know it's a long shot. Thanks all for your help!
